Risk has a lot of win conditions. We always finished with someone, say, holding all of Asia or capturing 12 countries in a single turn.

Fired up Black Mesa (after a little false start, would some instructions or an installer that looks for dependencies go astray?)... Half Life is OK I guess. Been a while since I played the first one, never actually finished it, at least that I can recall. The plan is to pay through the lot in order (have finished HL2/Ep1 but not Ep2). Maybe the third will be out by the time I'm ready.

Man the golf was epic. Love the Masters. I didn't leave home for work until 9 this morning, haha. Stupid playoff.

I got here just in time though, as they were showing it in the cafeteria and I saw the winning putt.

PS. There's an app on iOS that has the license to recreate Zaccaria pinball tables (an Italian pinball company from the late-70s to mid-80s). It's pretty damn good for how long it's been out for (and the dev doesn't have a history of making IRL tables).

I don't have a problem with it, really. In landscape, it doesn't feel awkward at all. Just like a big controller I guess.

I'm thinking of doing this with my iCade Core, but it's not necessary:

So yeah, I'm fine with the touchscreen on iPad :) Haven't played it on my phone since.

i watched competitive darts for the first time on tv the other day and it was sooo weirrrrdd. like, you'd think people there were at a wrestling thing or something, all rowdy n fist pumpin n what not

golf's fun to play, but boring tv i guess.

I got hooked after watching some finals matches when we were in the hotel room for Supernova Melbourne in 2010. My mates and I watched it for hours and it was amazing haha.

Nah, I don't sport, so it didn't spoil anything for me. But there's always a chance that someone else was going to watch that.

Actually, I have been known to sport, but of the NBA style sporting. On three occasions I've had a finals match spoiled even though I did everything in my power to not hear the result. On one occasion, One put the result of the match in the between shows "news" segments. My recording of the match started the very second the announcer said "[team] have won the final series." Jackasses.
