There would be rioting in the streets.

That's awesome that it worked first time man.

That MP is amazing, wish we had more politicians like him.

i think i only ever finished one fe before not finishing the 3ds one, so just get it! i'm on the last mission tho.I was thinking about pre-ordering Fire Emblem since I liked all the previous games but then I realized I never actually finished any of them.
D:Hey new guy, stop spilling the yoghurt on your keyboard!
Also from the ninemsn homepage:
Shame on me for thinking Australia was a little more progressive than that, and the fact Gillard...an atheist is against it and won't explain why is astounding. The homophobia that is still prevalent in this day and age is amazing.
That's not yoghurt, sir.Hey new guy, stop spilling the yoghurt on your keyboard!
Never put any trust in an internet poll, they skew a long way to the right. Ninemsn, yahoo, SMH etc... all skew this way, always have always will.
The reason the PM is against Gay marriage goes back to how she got the Job. She was put in place buy the right wing of Victorian and South Australian parties, along with the AWU (Paul Howes an enormous wanker) and the Shoppies Union (Joe De Bruin a super ultra social conservative). All these people and groups are hold outs of the Old DLP, a party/ideal the Abbott subscribes to as well interestingly.
These people have the PM by the "balls" when it comes to any social policy and she knows they will kick her out the second she comes out for marriage equality. The Australian Christian Lobby has also infected the Labor party due to the DLP roots and they have so much influence any religious organisation taking government money is still able to openly discriminate against LGBT employees and even unmarried people living in sin!
The fact that the right wing Krudd is largely supported by the left wing of the party and the left wing PM by the right of the party shows just how fucked up the situation has become. The sooner the entire right wing of the party is fired into the sun the better.
And this comes from a rusted on yet very disappointed Labor man.
I'm amazed the ninemsn homepage has at least 40k hits

A woman who is allegedly an employee of Victoria's Department of Justice has been filmed hurling racist abuse at a woman of Asian origin on a Melbourne train.
The 53-year-old chemical engineer, who does not want her identity revealed, boarded a busy Pakenham-line train with her 20-year-old daughter around 6.45pm Tuesday from Melbourne Central station.
She told ninemsn that after sitting down in one of few available seats she noticed a free seat opposite her between a female passenger and her young son, which was covered with books and bags.
The Philippines national said she asked the passenger to free up the seat for her daughter but the seemingly innocuous request instead sparked an outburst of racial abuse.
When the woman noticed that she was being filmed by her victim the confrontation became physical as she attempted to prise the phone from the chemical engineer's hands.
"She tried to take the phone off her and wrestled with her," Ms Daglish said.
"She threatened to smash her phone and smash her. "
Ms Daglish said at that point a male passenger put a hand on her shoulder and made her sit back down.
She said other passengers told the belligerent woman that she had said enough and to stop but the abuse continued for about 20 minutes, even after the Filipino woman had got off the train.
Ms Daglish said she was so disgusted she gave the abused woman her phone number and offered to act as her witness.
The Filipino woman praised the actions of fellow commuters.
"Almost everybody around me defended me," she said.
Ms Daglish added that during her rant the abusive woman identified herself as an employee of Victoria's Department of Justice.
So much for separation of church and state...who am I kidding.
Is Key & Peele the show that Reggie Watts did the theme for? Is it any good, or a bit crap?I'm lovin this Ricky Gervais song I just saw on TDS:

Kind of reminds me of this awesome Key & Peele rap skit:

Puts it more into perspective, thanks. So much for separation of church and state...who am I kidding.
I wonder where that 61% number came from that's floating around facebook. Either way, take that as the actual percentage. It'll make you feel better.
As usual, Australia gets fucked over for movie release dates:

Probably a Galaxy poll. In August last year they had it at 64%.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it could be a bit of fun. I was thinking it has a very Matrix vibe to it, mixed with a healthy dose of Men in Black and hint of the old west. Big stupid fun. That looks awesome. The trailer that is, not the stupid chart where we get it last.
All this whinging about Foxtel getting first access to BBC programming gets to me. It's just another example of how we think we are so entitled to get everything for free or cheap.
Not trying to start anything, but if you really want to watch these shows, pay for them.

It's not really astounding. We have no political culture that values competitiveness and listening to the public. It's either Labor or Liberal, and all one has to do is weasel the public enough to beat the other. There's no incentive to promote strong policies or move the country and society forward. They're all spineless and would rather play it safe, because that's the surest way they'll get elected.
I really think our country would benefit from a registered vote of no confidence during elections, like how board votes work. Anything that acknowledges a portion of the population being sick and tired of this droll political bullshit the necessity for change and movement.
