I'd say 7 years isn't bending the rules of reasonable age disparity, so much as the ages of the people involved here. I mean sure, Haman is literally queen of half the human race and dominating the world, and sure, Judau is a super-powered psychic-ace pilot demi-messiah, but still. He's fourteen. Even in the show Haman's interest in him comes across as messed up.
