Everyone can have different tastes, I used to own all PlayStation consoles, had even PS4 pro with all exclusives, but got so bored of the same formula and tired of how overhyped these games were that decided to sell it and didn’t even consider buying PS5, as the are no exclusives there that interest me. Even if they were I can play this on my gaming PC at much better performance. Eg. Black Myth Wukong (again, FOMO works and bought it at launch on steam but still haven’t played it, bought, even preordered Elden Ring and box with the game is till sealed. Games like Final Fantasy never appealed to me, never liked any games made by Kojima (same with any jRPG - funny enough I love manga and anime), my favourite PS games were by far over the years; wipeout (every single release incl. Sony handhelds that I also owned), resistance, killzone, motor storm to name few, I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent playing Tekken Tag Tournament with my mates, like 12-14h a day sessions to master combos etc. Local Pro Evo Soccer tournaments with mates etc. Lots of great memories with some games on PlayStation. Funny enough I love Starfield (I love more realistic sci-fi movies as well that show how big the universe is and at the same time full of galaxies, barren planets, stars, moons etc. Starfield is excellent in replicating this. You see what is boring for you is extremely entertaining for me, same what is exciting for you it is boring for me, everyone got their own taste.

In video game development, first-party, second-party, and third-party refer to the relationship between the developer and the platform holder:
- First-party: A developer that creates games exclusively for the company that produces the console. First-party developers are essentially a sub team of the platform owner.
- Second-party: A developer that takes on development contracts from a platform holder and creates games exclusively for that platform. Second-party developers are usually offered higher royalty rates than third-party developers.
- Third-party: A developer that creates games for multiple platforms.
So based on the above; Stellar Blade dev takes on developer contract in which Sony pays for games development = second party. Rise of Ronin takes on developer contract to develop game exclusive to PS5 = second party. Even helldivers 2 - signed a contract to develop game for PS5 = second party. Rebirth or Silent Hill 2 - both might be timed exclusives - so these are 2nd/3rd party. Black Myth Wukong - again might be 3rd party timed exclusive.
None of these teams behind these games are Sony studios. Completely independent developer that sign contract to deliver product to Sony.
So we are down to Astrobot and Concord - these are without any doubt 1st party as studios are own by Sony.
