I'm VERY interested in this. Ever since Whitest Kids U'Know started back up with their youtube channel, Zach has been mentioning this movie. I have no idea what to expect but for some reason it seems like "comedy" people really have a different eye for Horror (Jordan Peel, Danny McBride, Mel Brooks, etc). That and I will go out of my way to support anything made by the Whitest Kids U'Know cast. RIP Trevor.

Saw this last night, didn't know much of anything about it.
Awesome movie, 10/10 probably, can't really think of anything that was wrong with it.
Legit scary, funny, great pacing, script, etc. It was honestly a masterclass on pacing. One thing that I thought was completely brilliant is the 2nd time that we're shown the tunnels, when Justin Long is measuring things. Being able to take something that the viewer was terrified of 15 minutes prior, to then openly laughing at Justin Long casually measuring the place. So damn good.
What a wild and entertaining movie.

Just saw this last night, we saw all 3 of the big horror films this week in theaters, Barbarian, Smile and Terrifier 2.
Terrifier 2 was by far my favorite and the most fun I've had at a theater in years and Barbarian was a close 2nd, they were both fantastic films.
Smile on the other hand was absolute dog shit, typical modern horror film riddled with boring jump scares and loud screaming, just awful. Go watch Terrifier 2 and Barbarian asap.

Saw this last night. Not sure if the director intended for me to laugh as much as I did, but boy did it crack me up. I have no idea if I liked it or not. I think it went into the "This is so unbelievably dumb, I'm actually enjoying it."

This movie takes a nosedive after the first half. It basically lost all of the intrigue after the 1980s flashback. The setup was full of suspense and the payoff just didn't cut it.
"Subverting expectations" does nothing for someone who doesn't watch a lot of movies like this. I just want a classic thrill. The end of Barbarian felt rushed and nonsensical.
