Batman V Superman Final Trailer

Of course. The thrill of this fight isn't who wins. It's how Batman holds his own, and what tricks and gadgets he uses to stun, distract, disable, etc. Superman.

I can see that. I care who wins and it better be Superman. If Batman definitively wins not only do you undermine Superman but Superman level villains as well.

Can't wait for all the "If Batman beat Superman then he can beat Darkseid too."

No matter what happens, Batman's going to look good even attempting this fight.
I mean, he's going to show how incredibly resourceful he is in combat and he's going to show how he can dish it out and take it even from Supes.

But the world greatest detective can't figure out Superman isn't a bad guy just by watching him save people all the time? He's not looking particularly good to me :P
i can't wait for mama kent to drop some knowledge on supes.
She's going to invite Wayne over for dinner and it's going to be fucking awkward.
Spoilered in case you want to know
Damn Bats is going all in.

I wonder if he's actually trying to kill Supes or just trying to find how much does it take to break him.

Not really, we've also seen Batman firing from the Batwing(?)

To be fair, Batman never physically wins a fight in the comics. Hush, just stuns and distracts him long enough for Catman to grab Lois so they snap Supes out of mind control. Lex Luthor, all his gadgets and tricks get instantly countered by Supes. TDKR, he broken by a Superman who's barely sweating by the end and fakes a heart attack. New 52, none of his gadgets and tricks do anything

You should watch Superman/Batman: Apocalypse if you want to see the best Batman/Darkseid interaction ever.

Batman actually does kill Darkseid in Final Crisis.

The only thing that made me feel better was (spoilers for possible outcome)
Cavill said, "It's not about one on one. Of course Superman is going to win. But it's deeper than that. It’s more that these two great powers exist and are actually trying to achieve the same thing, but in such a different way."

But then again, maybe it's not true and he meant something else.

Batman actually does kill Darkseid in Final Crisis.

That's my favorite of the animated movies. Watch it all the time. Second favorite is Crisis on Two Earths.

And Batman killing Darkseid was dumb, imo. Hated that whole thing.

Darkseid was merely wounded; he didn't die. And it wasn't a regular bullet mind you, it was a weapon that travelled through infinite realities, repeating the damage done. It was pretty cool, and we got Bruce Wayne travelling through time because of it!

I know, it was just one of those aspects of comics I don't care for as much. When they do something ridiculous like how that bullet works. I'm fine with a little insanity. You have to be up for that to enjoy a lot of these stories but a line needs to be drawn somewhere, lol.

So Batman turns into Iron Man just to fight Super Man? Why not just be Iron Man all the time instead?
Overkill, not stealthy enough, armor probably is powered which means it may run out of whatever is powering it while in use, can't fit in Batmobile/Batwing with it, etc. I can see how they would explain it in a logical way without too much difficulty.

I'm still wondering about this rollout

Still no official acknowledgement/upload from Warner

It not being taken down is sort of an acknowledgement in its own way. Not like they aren't aware of it. Wouldn't be surprised if it shows up on Monday. Maybe something to do with that cancelled GMA event.

What is with Supermans cape lol, that thing moves like he's standing in the middle of a hurricane but then when he stands on Batman's car it doesn't really move at all.
I have come to accept that Superman has hired Beyonce's wind.

Let Superman be swag! Nobody complains Superman has never had a hair on his head move when flying 3x the speed of sound. Let his cape blow!

I always weirds me out when Alfred says 'Master Wayne' in the movies.
Its so informal.

He always says 'Master Bruce' in the comics.
I am probably the only person in the world bothered by this.

>When bats smashed that dude's face against the floor
Well, there goes his 'no kill' rule.
Anyway, this trailer totally sold me on seeing the movie.

I think the Amy Adams in the tub scene is going to be my favorite scene of the movie.

Just like her leading Marky Mark to bed in The Fighter.

When Batman surprises Superman by blocking his punch, it reminded me of their fight in Red Son, where Batman genuinely could've beaten the crap out of Superman.

Why is it when Batman is up against a group of guys, you still have some of them standing around pointing their guns.

In this one instance, there seems to be an explanation, Batman makes their guns spark so he presumably disabled them in some way. Dudes starting around trying to fix a jammed gun or something kind of makes sense when you pull a trigger and nothing happens.

After seeing the first part of the trailer, you can't tell me Synder hasn't played any of the Arkham games? The first 30 seconds definitely captured the fighting mechanics of the Arkham games well.
