lol Sad Affleck was on my Facebook trending news items.
No. The problem is not just lenght, is literally everything else.
I will say this, we really needed movies to flesh out these characters before this.
Batman was a monumental missed opportunity. And he is absolutely the best thing in this. And that is no proud thing to be
Not really. There's not a single narrative that builds momentum. This movie would need restructuring from the ground up.
I'm relieved and kind of sad I didn't make it on this list. Not sure if it's been posted yet:

Ok... that was a really strange weird movie.
Just calling it bad kinda undersells it.
I liked 5% of it, a few neat things here and there.
The rest was a confusing mess.
It felt like someone took 4 different movies and tried to edit them together to make some sorta coherence.

This movie was not good. I did not enjoy it.
IM3 > AoU > MoS = Thor 2 > BvS
This was about my ratio as well. These little pockets of neat stuff wrapped in a giant pastry of WTF and bad editing.
This will make the world even more impressed with the patience Marvel has shown in building their Universe, across all platforms.
Just look at attempts like these from DC.
Yup. To think people were saying that it's good for DC to not follow the Marvel route and do cross overs first and solo movies later...
Oh how people were such naive back then.
I mean the idea itself is good.
Getting Zach Snyder to do it wasn't.
There were Standing Ovations for this movie? In a Cinema??? Really?
American Cinema culture is fucking strange.
My Bros!
But I cant believe that there is someone with more posts then Dalek.

'Murrcia!Shit went boom. People applauded an early screening of Dark of the Moon I went too. People love when shit go boom.
TFA was the one movie where I wished we in germany had a similar culture, I always imagined how awesome american screenings must be with everybody going apeshit when the title flew in.Canadian here: I've only had this happen twice in my theater-watching experiences. One was in Straight Outta Compton when the party scene concluded, the other was Star Wars: The Force Awakens when the opening rolled in. The theater I saw this film with didn't really have any major reaction to the film, no laughs or clapping whatsoever.aka the "bye, Felicia" origin story

Guys... someone has probably linked the sad affleck video to Ben Affleck by now. Maybe he's even seen it.
most high profile GAF -> Internet -> GAF ever?

I am ok with this, after their big shocks from earlier, this is okGemüsepizza;199262026 said:Just take a look here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_cinematic
Standing ovations, people clapping, screaming, crying. This is literally the best movie ever made.lol
Yeah so..I saw this. I don't want to hear anybody say "wow they made a movie with a talking raccoon" or "wow R-rated superhero movie" as some major risk ever again. THIS movie, what the hell. How in the hell did they make this movie, with their two biggest characters (well 3 biggest I suppose) nonetheless. This is such an obvious hard sell to general audiences and especially kids.
It's not as bad as the reviews make it out but it ain't good either. It has that problem I've had with a few movies of this ilk lately. Particularly Age of Ultron, Ant Man and Man of Steel where I kind of stopped giving a shit about the story and just wanted to get to the final battle already. And when that happened I kind of didn't really care and wanted it all to end already.
But having said that the first 20 minutes are brilliant. Like top-tier comic book movie filmmaking there. I was impressed and had the pacing not turned to garbage after and some great ideas (and bad ideas) not been squandered this would be the best superhero movie since Spiderman 2.
Instead it's a 5/10 at best, and I'm just giving it that rating for the strength of the first 20 minutes and also Ben Affleck/Irons who are fantastic.
and P.S. FUCK LEX
Just got out of the theater.
Movie was a mess. Editing is inconsistent, it just jumps all over the place.
First act was a snoozefest. I could tell the some people are getting bored out of their minds.
Second Act was okay. Although Superman's arc isn't really that interesting and Cavill's acting was awful.
Third act is hype. CGI fest but what can you do with that kind of fight. Batman was awesome butwhich was disappointing. Lex was so bad. I still wish Spacey was casted in the part.didn't do shit against doomsday
I also think the Wonder Woman's scene is misplaced. That could have been put in the end to hype the next movie.
Overall, I rate it mediocre/10. Much better than MoS, but running up as the worst superhero movie of the year.

Lol Boston? I was there too. The guy saying damn actually made me laugh. Was surprised at the cheers when WW showed up. Although gotta admit that scene was pretty hype. The only audience reactions were when a Parademon knocked out Batman, someone randomly yelled DAMN.
The other was when Wonder Woman showed up.
The music really helped sell that scene.
Only Review League could unite us nowAre all the bad reviews from GAF here and all the ok to good reviews on it's own OT? lol
Only this movie could separate us.
I don't know why people keep posting Batman v Superman reviews in this Iron Man 3 thread. It's strange. Are all the bad reviews from GAF here and all the ok to good reviews on it's own OT? lol
