They aren't. They're just making it one of the "fantasy holes." But yeah, they advertised it in 2014 or so right after BF4 launched. So if they're reusing it for 2015... that's weird or Tiger Woods 2014 didn't launch or something. Someone that plays EA Golf would know more than me.

Well, the game is running Frostbite/3 (IIRC) like all EA titles since BF3 launched. Not surprised they just import one of DICE's map files to make a golf course out of to show the "versatility of the game engine" or whatever.

Nonono. I get that. What I mean is it's not like they couldn't already edit the map to do that. The map data was already there from DICE's work on Frostbite 3/BF4. It was just a matter of EA Orlando's team taking that map data, tweaking areas to add grass/"greens" and tee areas.
But yeah, it's impressive they fit nine holes on Paracel. I'm wondering if you could hit the buildings if you were completely misaiming from the hole.

Hey, is there an issue with the hud in the xbox one version?
My friend is playing on a 55" 1080p TV and he says he can barely see the base letters and definitely can't read the distance/meters to bases. He says it's literally the size of a pen tip.
Any idea for a fix? I play on a monitor but I see them just fine.

Advanced settings should allow him to zoom the individual interface stuff up. But yeah, at 1080p on his TV it should be the same as a 1080p monitor on PC. The only difference is the X-box version is 900p.

I just bought the regular version of this game last week for Xbox One.
Two questions:
1) Is the premium version with all the extra maps and other stuff really $50? If so, does it ever go on sale?
2) Is the premium upgrade worth it? Do servers actually use the extra maps and are they any good?

It was on sale many times already on both consoles...
I wouldnt recommend if you are a small scale player (RUSH, TDM etc) because there are no Servers for this modes on DLC maps... DLC Packs now are just good if you want more weapons lol IMO
Yeah they still haven't fixed that. Premium is only good for weapons and CQL maps, it's hard to find servers running other modes on the maps.
It only works if I'm supporting him from the ground, unfortunately.

They should make a BF4 expansion with all BF3 maps.
I would pay 30, 40 bucks for that.

For those who play on PC I have a question. For some reason when I try to run while holding Q for communications my solider stops running. It just started happening yesterday I believe. I have no idea how to fix this.

hitreg and netcode have felt really off since the last patch. I'm counting 6+ hitmarkers on a guy and seeing him have 25+ hp left after he 2 shots me. This happens often with differing amounts of confirmed hits and bullshit hp remainders.

Your keyboard probably is doing keyrollover prevention. You need to get a replacement keyboard/mechanical or membrane that doesn't do that to prevent it.
@Facism: It's something to do with server providers or something. Can get 80-120 ping in other games and suddenly I'm 150-180 in BF4 servers. :|

The ping on PC is an average. It doesn't give your actual "real time" ping because that can vary per second. The CTE graph (which is in Live now) gives you an accurate ping. Generally I have 20-40 more "ping" than the average.
Yeah I'm aware of the graph, which sony wont let us have on console for some reason. I ran with the network graph for a bit on PC to see if I was dropping packets like crazy on my end because of the inconsistent performance on Console BF4.
You're probably not. I can get 80-120 in Valve's shitty Counter-Strike servers
when I was playing that online. LOLOLOLOL.

Just uninstalled the game. Multiplayer is such an unpleasant experience. It seems more and more obvious that EA/DICE has no fucking clue how to provide a polished and satisfying multiplayer experience with their Battlefield games. Just some of the things which annoy me:
- Stupid admins.
- Stupid servers with stupid rules.
- No viable official servers with increased ticket time. Can't have that, because greed. Guess what EA/DICE, I don't want to play on a server of some shitty ass clan/admin who can kick you without reason or make up stupid rules.
- Cheating. Everyday at least one Aimbot cheater.
- Glitching and DICE's refusal to change map locations to prevent glitching. Has been a problem since release.
- Stupid map design where you can't do anything if you get pushed back to your base. (Conquest Locker for example).
- The community is shit. Constantly insulting each other, voting No when you want to kick a glitcher on their team, not caring about obvious cheaters if they are on their team...
- Fragmentation of user base because of DLC maps. The concept of a season pass for a multiplayer game which includes maps is so incredibly dumb, it's mind-boggling.
- No support for BFH PC. They left this game to die.
Screw this game and this company. Don't even want to buy Battlefront anymore. Which I probably shouldn't anyway. Releasing a MP only game for 60€ is just a rip-off. But hey, it has that Star Wars license so they can get away with that.
