When the Shield first launched in CTE it was such a troll weapon. Able to move faster than the person without a shield could backpedal. ONE HIT KILL bash. Sprint speed not being effected.
Such a troll weapon. Though, I admit the "WTF" element of shield battles being a roll of "who kills who" was kinda fun at the time.
The snipers been ass from the get-go. But at least I suffered it to get the bipod on it so yay? *goes back to the GOL*

Issue with the server and taking a while to update stats as far as I know.
But they do have the stats for the new weapons here.
Yeah I think it's BF4 + Destiny for me too. The Hardline beta was fun but not different or exciting enough to make me want to play it over BF4 so there's no point in me buying it. As much as I may make fun of certain things in BF4 it's still by far the most FPS I own right now and nothing on the horizon looks better to me.
Destiny is a different beast altogether and it'll satisfy my co-op and loot hoarding itch lol.

I've been playing the Destiny beta and go back to BF4 and my skills aren't good. For some reason I can't seem to ply more than none FPS at a time especially if their different styles.

After 105 hours of multiplayer, I decided I wanted to play the campaign. I knew of the save bug that might still be around for the PS4, so I decided I would try to complete it in one sitting...
That's very doable. Took 4ish hours and that was that. Wasn't even half-bad, aside from one incident where the AI characters didn't progress at one part of a mission.
But I think Battlelog might've been down or something at the time, so I don't think it actually registered my playtime in the campaign with the rest of my time playing BF4. Womp womp.

So after upgrading the rig, I finally bought Premium. I haven't had a chance to play it yet (Battlelog is down), but I want to give it a proper go this time around. Is there a PC GAF BF4 group or anything similar? Would have to be EU.

So I decided to bite the bullet and try CTF on Dragon Teeth. Terrible. At least on Market and Garden. In Garden whoever controls the elevated railway controls the map and Market is just a bad map overall. I haven't gotten to play it on Propaganda and Sunken Dragon yet.
Though, I don't think it would work well on them either, especially being only 32 players now. Why DICE decided to change that is a mystery to me. 64 player CTF worked great on Oman, Caspian, and Firestorm (despite me not liking Firestorm personally). The only map it sucked on was Metro, because well, its Metro.

Yes, everyone got it. It's part of Battlefest or something. Apparently tied to an Easter Egg or something.
Wait, they added new maps for capture the flag?
Just the expansion maps. And they moved some expansion vehicles over to the expansion as well (Dirtbikes, and hovecrafts, for instance are in these maps)
DICE IS SLOWLY LEARNING TO ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT THEIR NEW SHIT ON OTHER MAP PACKS! *gasp* Now if they back-ported to vanilla maps the dirtbike and the like...

The whole "new modes with DLC" is some of the biggest bullshit I've ever seen. I don't normally compare COD and BF, but at least you can play every mode on every map out of the box in COD.
CTF is a staple that should always be alongside of Conquest and Rush.

I don't get it either. 64 players was way more fun and intense. What they should have done is just remove Metro from being a pick on CTF and kept the other maps. It's still OK, but not as fun anymore...

Alright, I'm a bad person, I'll admit it. I told myself if BF4/premium were sixty bucks combined on PC, I would consider it. I recently beefed up my PC with a new graphics card and it is singing.
But I own BF4 on PS4 with premium already. I can't really figure out if I'm enjoying it more or less because of the controller. Maybe if I bought the PC version, it wont' have the same appeal due to the accuracy. While I may have one hand tied behind my back on a controller, so does everyone else. I find it works to my advantage, and the vehicles drive well too.
Do people in PC vs. PS4 play similarly, or is it a more methodical/frustrating game on PC? I'm not bad with a mouse and keyboard, I rather enjoy it in Titanfall.

My proudest achievement ever in BF4 just happened: I got a headshot with a silenced gol magnum on the pilot of a helo at 500 m.

Every time I use it I feel like going back to the SCAR. Bulldog is horrid at mid range, might as well run around with a shotgun if extreme CQC is all it's good for.
once i saw the 21 round cartridge i was less excited. I was back using the m416 when i was going for the assignment and forgot how much i love that gun (main for assault in BF3 & BF4)
In other news ive been using the MG4 ALOT (not a support player at all) and am really enjoying the ROF/ Cartridge capacity / Accuracy from all ranges. Anyone else in love with this thing?

It's just "new gun that is fairly effective" hype. Not OP, IMO--just a good rifle. My roommate, who frequently sprays and prays from the hip, really likes it. I like the SCAR more.

AWS: Uh... months ago. By a "recoil" otherwise, no. It's still hilariously powerful.
M16: Didn't get that a buff to where it's no-recoil accurate now? Or was that the M416? Either/or, they're both pigdog weapons and one got buffed.
When will DICE buff my glorious socialist weapons to where they have no recoil and a fast fire rate to be broken? Why do I have to use German weapons for that. (Oh wait, the AWS is... American?)

Bulldog is just a CQ SCAR. Not really a fan since I like to be able to easily pick dudes off at close and mid range.
