What's so great about Ludwig's sword? I've been using it as my secondary weapon but I see a lot of people seem to be using it as a primary. I've been using the saw cleaver because it stun locks like 90% of the enemies in the game.

Ludwig staggers guys for me that the cleaver won't

So does Ludwig's if you hit with L2.

Good scaling and amazing moveset. 2H form staggers like a beast and it has a move for almost any situation, covers a lot of distance and most importantly, hits like a truck.

The R1, R1, L1 combo is fantastic for clearing large groups of enemies.

I was expecting Rom to be some like big challenge. I don't get it. Don't lock on, ignore spiders, hit and run. All his attacks can be dodged.

Not sure if anyone here is a fan of DaveControlLive on YT. He's done Souls LPs and guides and he's been doing a LP for BB and there has been lots of pretty hilarious moments. Worth watching if you want something BB-related to watch along side ENB's LP.

The boss itself isn't a big problem. It's just that odd spider divebomb that gets you now and then and when you panick in that moment you'll probably die. :P

What's a reliable strategy when the
Wet Nurse clones herself?
It gets pretty hectic. I beat her but it just left me confused because sometimes it disappeared but I can't tell if it's because I hit it or her.

Logarius
is kicking my ASS. Jeez...

No matter how close I get so I can parry, he continuously spams his magic attacks.

He's definitely one of the tougher bosses in the game.

My successful strat involved being up in his face the entire time with either fire or bolt paper + beast pellets so that I could stagger him as much as possible. That and using the environment to get some much needed healing off. It was a pretty messy fight overall though, with relatively few parries.

Lololol pearl was a joke guess I was waaaay over leveled I killed him in like 6 sword swings... Main taking sooo slow with this game will be sad when their is no new areas in the game to explore I looove to slow pace the game makes me do when I don't know an area it's the game the about the game... Can't help but feel the game is just toooo short. :(. Dlc can't come soon enough and I'm not even done with it.....

Think the clone disappears by itself. I just waited it out in one of the rotations.

I usually try to stay as close to her as possible. That way I always know that she's not going to hit me and I can
dodge her clone
without having to unlock.

Is there something special that has to be done to get the
scythe
or do you just get it for beating the game?

is there a new dupe method? i read rumors of one on this patch but idk. i'd just like my first char to be a 'try out everything in the game' kinda thing not for serious pvp

Man, what's up with the electric beast dude on the roof in the forbidden woods? The one who's a lil dude eatin corpses until you attack him.

He's kicking my ass.

What is the Inspect option at the
dead Rom
in
Ebrietas' boss room
for? It just says Do Nothing.
I dont know about the inspect option at
Rom
, but for
Ebrietas
, there you can
resurrect Annalise. If you finish the Alfred quest line, Annalise gets killed.

Done!

-great scale, best weapon for quality build
- two handed mode is the go to as it has decent range
- R1 attack is great for mobs of bosses
- R2 charge attack is great and doesn't risk much as it's a powerful thrust
- L2 attack is great as a finisher to two R1s. Or L1 after 2 R1 attacks for mobs

I also have wheel as secondary for blunt.

Just beat the bosses on the second level of the first chalice dungeon. There were 3 Merciless Watchers and instead of rushing in to my guaranteed doom I just used the stairs to bait them out and separated them. After that I just went to work and wrecked their asses. What a fun, but strategic battle that one was, thank god I was patient and thought my way through it.

44 hours in. I'm in N
ightmare of Mensis
. I've killed every optionnal boss. I did the Pthemuru Chalice dungeons depth 1, 2 and 3 (next is defiled or something).

... And I just discovered you can sprint.

I'm pretty sure that Hunter killed me more times then every boss before that area put together.

I saw how badly it could go when I tried to fight honourably the first time. no longer have any honour when playing Bloodborne.

I did almost the exact same lol same strategy for the Hunter but it took me 3 tries for R
om.

I just ran around the outside and then through a gap in the small spiders, hit him a few times and ran back out. Ran in circles outward to dodge the meteors and repeated. One of the easiest fights for sure, though I used up all 20 vials haha

That's exactly what I did, too. Kept circling around, waited for an opening, then sprinted in and smashed him with with an R2 from Ludwig's Blade. It took 8 minutes and 23 vials, but it worked!

You can also jump ! while sprinting, just tap circle again ! Yay !

I have no shame in using poison knives against some of the assholes in this game. lol
