Bond 25 title revealed: No Time To Die

"We now finally know the title of Daniel Craig's (likely) final outing as James Bond – No Time to Die.

The title was announced today (August 20) by producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, with the movie currently in production after some delays hit it in recent months.

Back in April, we got the confirmation of the cast of No Time To Die, with the likes of Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Ana de Armas joining returning stars Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and more.

The movie kicks off with Bond enjoying the quiet life in Jamaica after leaving active service, only for Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) to show up asking for his help.

But a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more dangerous for Bond than expected, leading him on the trail of a mysterious villain who is armed with dangerous new technology.

It's believed that Malek is playing the villain of No Time To Die, but he was remaining tight-lipped when asked about his role in the movie by Digital Spy."

"The movie is released on April 3, 2020 in the UK and April 8, 2020 in the US."

I have been watcing a lot of Bond movies lately so can't wait to see this. Daniel Craig has been a great Bond.

Can't wait to see what the True Detective Series 1 director brings to Bond, should be in for a crazy ride.

I just can't find it in myself to care about this series anymore even after how much I loved it growing up before the first two Craig ones and haven't watched it since. Mission Impossible has been knocking it out of the park instead for awhile now over Bond, give me back my over the top ridiculous 90s Bond please.

Still think Craig is too old now.

Could be a repeat of A View To A Kill. Great film, but Bond was too old.

Please let this one be good. Given it could very well be the end of traditional Bond, I hope it goes out on a high note.

They decided to chase an Academy Award instead and it has been a bit of a mixed bag. I don't mind the first three Craig films. I actually really like Skyfall despite its problems but I think Mission: Impossible has stolen its lunch these days.

Remember when there would be at least one big memorable stunt moment in each Bond film? Mission: Impossible does that now. I can't even remember a single moment from Spectre and would even take Die Another Day over it in a heartbeat.

I could use some classic over-the-top spy stuff again in my James Bond.

I think the Craig era is both a reaction to the Bourne films and the Brocoli's wanting a golden statue.

The talent behind this new film gives me hope though. I am glad they brought in Phoebe Waller-Bridge to punch up the script. Purvis and Wade are a bore.

Spectre had that really awesome single take intro through the busy streets/hotel when everyone was in costumes, that was fantastic, but I do see your point.

I didn't like Skyfall or Spectre. They rebooted with the great Casino Royale, but was already at the "too old for this shit" Bond by Skyfall.

Like others have said, the Mission Impossible series is amazing right now. I love it.

So far the Craig films are easily my favorites in the series (except Quantum of Solace), hope this meets my expectations. God, watching through the series, I was so exhausted of these films before finally reaching Casino Royale. Blew all the previous entries outta the water.

Daniel Craig again? I swear I've read interviews of him claiming it would be his last Bond movie since 2006.

I don't know, I used to be a huge, and I mean HUGE James Bond fan, but even I cannot become excited about these films anymore. The last one I saw was the (in my opinion) disappointing Quantum of Solace.

These days the only thing I do is look back on past Bonds. Think they were all great, and while Sean Connery remains my favorite interpreter of Bond, I'm also very fond of the very underappreciated Timothy Dalton. George Lazenby may not have been the best Bond, but the one film he starred in was outstanding (On Her Majesty's Secret Service), especially its score, setting, and camera work.
I have mixed feelings about Roger Moore these days (used to be all over his films when very young) and Daniel Graig...well, I don't like his portrayal of Bond at all, even though Casino Royale was quite good in itself. Pierce Brosnan starred in one of my favorite films of the 90s...you can probably guess which one.

I liked Casino Royale, Skyfall, and Spectre. But what was the scene the producer was talking about in this new movie?

"In walks the new 007 who is a woman and she is black and beautiful" :pie_eyeroll:

Casino Royals is my favorite bond movie of all time. Every other Craig movie is awful.

Such a shame they were never able to recreate that wonderful sense of brutality and vulnerability he brought to the first movie.

I guess when you pretty much hit perfection on the first try there isnt anywhere to go but down. It's such a shame to see Craig saddled with such tripe for basically his whole run.

Exactly what I think!
I thought we were in for a golden era of Bond movies, but when Quantum of Solace hit, I knew something was wrong.
And after the shit movie that was Skyfall and finally the Abomination that was Spectre it was over.

They completely lost their idea that Craig Era Bond started off with.
I have no faith in this new movie.

Casino was one of the best bond films of all time but I don’t understand the love for any of the other Craig era films. Quantum is an atrocity and Skyfall is completely forgettable yet it gets praised so much. My girlfriend raved about Skyfall like it was the second coming... we’re not together anymore.

Skyfall kicked ass, surprised it's getting so much hate here given the audience rating between it and Casino are pretty close. Incredible climax, entertaining villain, lots of cool set pieces, etc.

Villain was just them trying to copy the Dark Knight. Skyfall is entertaining enough on a first watch as the production values are top notch. Problem is once you actually start thinking about the script the whole thing falls apart. The lackluster takes on Q and Moneypenney didnt help matters.

That said it's still waaaaay better than QoS and Spectre.

This is a big deal, my first reaction was this will put Craig as the most played Bond of all time, and a significant milestone in 007 history. At his age, he deserves another shot at the Bond role.

What do you mean? In terms of Bond outings? Even with this one he's still two movies behind Moore and one movie behind Connery (Two if you count NSNA). =P

Not always a bad thing, old characters can have an incredible aura around them, I could have imagined Craig as an ultra expert agent 007 a là big boss haha
You have to be a great director, tho, to make this really good

I don't think he's to old really. Even while i dislike the craig movies mostly its a veteran in the bond movies now, i rather see a movie with him then some random nobody. It's already going to be rough to deal with the new cast anyway they introduced.

Going to be interesting to see who is going to be the newest bond after this. So many options tho.

Casino Royale is a goddamn action masterpiece. It’s up there with Rambo, Die Hard, Commando, etc. It shits all over all the other Bonds in terms of action and even rivals them in other areas like cinematography, casting, story, villains. It’s as close to a perfect action movie as you can get.

Its sequels were doomed to be subpar by comparison from the start.
