It's all starting to fit now. Sounds like
Walt may have used the services of the "Vacuum repair guy", to evade some sudden danger that trashed the house (probably Todd's Nazi relatives). No time to grab ricin.

I'm stopping myself from clicking the spoiler tags, but if a video of the scene goes online, I don't think I'll be able to say no!

I wouldn't say it was perfect. I know some people who had no idea what was going on in that episode because for one reason or another they missed some crucial point in the narrative that helps explain what is happening (like walt looking at the plant outside in his backyard). It was also a little bit unfair because Breaking Bad hadn't really done anything like that with its narratives before that point--it usually let the audience know everything that Walt knows (everything that is relevant to the situation). All of a sudden the audience had to think for itself and the reality is a lot of people don't like that in television writing

Perhaps "perfect" was too strong a word, but I feel like it was handled really well on the show.

Nobody wants to actually see Walt poisoning a kid. Just knowing he did something that despicable is bad enough. And the audience not seeing/knowing about it made the reveal a great twist - we were rooting for Walt to take down the bad guy and then it's revealed Walt is evil as fuck himself.

Once they start describing in detail how Walt accomplished all this by sneaking into a school and somehow switching/planting poison in Brock's juice box it sounds goofy and would ruin things IMO. It's better left up to the viewers imagination.

Goddamnit, after skipping over the spoilers I accidentally spoiled myself looking for the video.

The opening scene sounds incredible but the wait after reading about it.... ARGH.

I'm rewatching the show because I feel like revisiting some of the older visual gags I didn't pay much attention to

Won't we have officially released comic con videos?

I can't describe how excited I am for these episodes.

There's been no word. Probably in time.

In other news, Aaron Paul is going on the Tonight Show this Tuesday. Maybe he'll bring a new clip.

EDIT: He's also gonna be on Conan this Wednesday, and Dean Norris will be on Kimmel this Friday (possibly for Under the Dome, though).

I really need to start watching the Season Five Blu-Rays. I still haven't watched the first eight episodes yet.

On a mostly unrelated note, did they cancel Hell on Wheels yet?

That shit was hard to suffer through before each BB episode.

are you seriously telling me that in a panel with hundreds of people watching no one recorded the cold open in full

argh I really want to watch it instead of reading the spoiler wall :(

edit: fuck it I read it anyways oh man oh god oh man

I'm still looking for that Chicks 'n' Guns scene with Jesse, Saul, and Skinny Pete. It's literally like NOWHERE to be found.

And before you say 'pirate', I've already purchased the episodes on iTunes, so I feel I'm 'allowed' to watch it.

Why not just find that scene in the episode you purchased?
