I managed to stay on the wagon for all of 8 hours Dave. My pal got in from work, and we went and got some weed.

But on the plus side, I only smoked three little spliffs, I'd usually smoke three times that amount at least in a night. I think that's the trick, smoke in very light moderation.
I just need to stop spending so much on the stuff. If I haven't still got some left by the weekend, I'm doing it wrong.

It's a start, stick with it. I didn't just quit. I started at an eighth a night, dropped to an eighth every other night, dropped that to a Q every week, then to an eighth on the weekend and then stopped altogether. It took about a year all-in. It seems like it was a piece of piss now, but it was probably a lot harder than I think. Weed just seems so fucking great when it's a large part of your life. It took me a few weeks to get past thinking 'man, can't wait to get home and spark up a J' when I was at work.
It's a really good feeling once you come out the other side and you know you can grab an eighth if you want, but you're not really that bothered if you don't. It gives me a definite feeling of control that I didn't really realise I'd lost in the first place.
Tried substituting that urge for something else? Thing is though, going cold turkey can be quite hard and dangerous at times. Slowly decrease your joints per day and if you have that urge to go over your set limit then try to find something else to do. jogging perhaps.
it'd be coming back to go somewhere else early. shamefully there's a lot of misinformation and interpretations to thailand which we couldn't have learnd without coming here. would have gone to somewhere else probbaly if we knew what we know now.
its not all bad, just weighing up the options.

Well, it would be as a traveler. However, I would probably do EFL to get by and not spend all my money. Plus I would want to work on my side projects and goals so I could take those off. Rather then what I am doing now.
Not sure what EFL even pays over there. I'm sure not much but if it could at least pay for basic cost of living I'd be fine.

Weed can make an average night in incredible and a short walk to the bathroom a mindblowing quest. Giving up is pointless, a tbreak at the very least.
