It's no reason to move out, mane. Although i guess that depends on what type of cancer it is and what stage? If it's stage 4 anything or pancreatic anything, he's pretty much fucked so maybe you should find somewhere else to live. Sounds callous but you don't want him dying on you and being left with the bills.
Think you said he was 27 before so he might be okay as that's pretty young. I remember my friend's brother being diagnosed with advanced lung and brain cancer at the age of 28, doctors were mega surprised to see it so bad in someone so young.

I'm not sure where I stand on that. I've got DKC: R on 3DS and I am slowly making my way through it. I fire it up and smile and think 'ooh, this is like that game I used to like!' and I'm happy for about three levels. Then I get bored and play something else.
I'm glad I bought it and I will complete it eventually, it just isn't clicking like it should. I think some of it is the fact that the 3D effect just doesn't work for me on the 3DS XL and DK seems like it uses it to great effect

Maybe I'm out of touch but the DKC games to me always came off as cool games. Of course I may be confusing 90s coolness with the coolness of the 10s but consider the VGX awards are using an X to denote coolness I'm sure they are also stuck in 90's cool mode. Thus for my DKC should be a perfect fit.
But I'm not going to watch them so I'd rather big reveals are saved for something I will watch.

We're on season three now? Fuck, I've only watched up to the first episode of season two and then couldn't be bothered to downl...erm, acquire the rest. Is it worth watching the rest?
passable. If you got nothing else productive to do then put it on in the background. Otherwise, don't allocate time to watch it. Great characters but the plot/storylines are so "been there, done that".
I am a week ahead (watch them on 4OD on Tuesdays) than terrestrial.
I like the show and think it is worth watching, but I do have a few issues:
1. It's lost any sense of realism, the plots are getting daft now.
2. They all seem to still be in their second year, no mention that this should be their 3rd / final and that Howard should have left by now.
3. They are all becoming caricatures (more than they were).
I think point 2 is due to them wanting to keep it running and not have to end it at S3 when they inevitability leave Uni, some changed courses, some may be doing a PHD but it's pretty apparent they are just pretending S1/2 was one year and not two.

I've not had much chance to enjoy remote play yet but I'm loving the console. This might pull me away from PC gaming almost entirely for a couple of years!

But I'm still enjoying it. Agree on the realism but it's very funny.
Eh, I dunno. The framerate isn't really bothering me that much. I can tell it's a really good Donkey Kong game, and a really good platformer, I just can't bring myself to play it for more than ten minutes at a time. I just end up going on Youtube and watching the fucking awesome intro to the SNES version.
Yup, I can see it being my main games machine for the forseeable future. Well, split with the Vita anyway.

Vod is just unstoppable. So fucking entertaining to watch. Kinda feel she's watered down a little in S3. Initially disliked JP but feel that without him in the crew the show would be weak. Ridiculously funny. Oregon is meh...Kinda felt that they could've done something with the Vod/Oregon double team instead of just Oregon trying hard to act/be like Vod during S1 and 2. Howard's great. He reminds me of a guy I used to work with who looks exactly like him. and the whole Josie/Kingsley story arc is just so mundane. I couldn't care less if they break up, get together, get smashed, contract herpes..whatever. Also, fuck that "My Parents Are Aliens" lecturer guy still being in it.

It is now, it started off ok because he was so fucking tragic, having to give up being a teenager to look after your sick mum in a council flat? that guy deserves happiness, but now he is just as much of a douche as the rest.
But with Josie though? Fuckin' Josie?!! shit, she'd give me a brain aneurysm.
I had mixed feelings with that whole "Howard trying to get that girl but she ends up doing JP" story. On one hand I felt bad for Howard and thought JP was a dick for getting what he wanted but on the other hand I applauded the show for not going down that BS "loser guy gets the girl by doing nothing" happy ending. The show would've definitely been unrealistic if it went down the King of Queens route.
