Yes The Order thread is a great morning's entertainment. The game never looked special, gameplay wise, in fact it looks dull beyond measure.

People seem to take gaming criticism to heart as though their nearest and dearest have been insulted. If the game is junk, it is junk. There are plenty more games to play and I am sure the quality of life for these people will not be pissed away if the game isn't that good.

The setting of the game could have leant itself to something interesting. Instead it looks like it holds your hand and is a slow and done-to-death third person shooter.

I don't know. Personally I found people posting pictures of hot women incredibly childish but talking about porn star's genitals would be more interesting than another day of Paedo Cy's (that's the other Cy, not you) woe is me bullshit and the general shitfest the thread has become.

I didn't want to make a point of it, but I thought the same thing.

People on the internet are far too miserable. Even terrisus remains positive in his posting tone.

Cannot wait for the 19th. Going to take my sister to the cinema and not think about anything work related. Christmas can finally begin then.

I am miserable in real life too. In fact I am full of sunshine and happiness on here compared to what I am actually like.

Nah an optimist is just someone more reliant on particular heuristics and cognitive biases.

Pessimists think they are superior but they are just unproductive ;) . People genuinely do react differently to you if you smile and are positive to them. It is weird and I didn't believe it until I had to try it.

I am not getting into why I am like this and don't ever assume me to be unproductive (as I am pessimistic about a LOT of things that I will never share with people on a forum) otherwise this thread will get spicy. Smiling and getting smiled at is the least of what I give a toss about in my day.

The fact is that being like that isn't going to make you enjoyable to interact with so a little optimism and PMA go along way towards becoming tolerable.

Maybe people would like you more if you smiled and then you'd be happier and more pleasant to be around, like a positivity feedback loop.

Ha!

To be honest, resting smiley faces always make me a bit unsure. I was at a conference (that conference in London the other week) with someone like that. I kept smiling back and it took me about half an hour to realise that was just his face.

I was introduced to "resting bitch face" when I first visited the US. It was not a thing I realised existed, but it explained so much.
