Daredevil's pretty damn good.
The question isn't if but how much did you cry?
Lots. I tried to be strong and hold it in but that final scene, god damn it the tears were streaming.

Late with all the Daredevil talk but I just started to watch it this weekend and am about 6 episodes in. Loving it. Some of the shots they do are genuinely amazing, the hallway fight and the bit with the blind Chinese guy waiting in the car.
Class.
Time for my final term ever in college.
Damn it has gone so fast and I actually cannot wait to leave.
Yo skeleton, does your fine Electrical Emporium sell these little fellas:fuck £50 notes. no it isn't appropriate to buy a £2 tape measure with a fifty.

I want to watch Netflix off my phone in the sitting room.
I promise not to pay with a fiddy.
Cool!aye! what phone you got?
Kaguya is like one of the best animated movies I've ever seen. It's like on another level compared to most anime.I'm fully aware I tend to post shows that would be the equivalent of recommending Hollyoaks as good television but there's no way one can say AoT is the best of Japanese animation with a straight face. I watched The Tale of Princess Kaguya the other day at the cinema and that blasts AoT out of the water. People still recommend Cowboy Bebop because it's such a good show. I doubt people will be saying the same of AoT in as many years.
If I were to recommend something that would have broad appeal but is very much something you'd only expect from Japanese animation, Big O would be a fairly safe bet. Same animation studio that helped with the Batman animated series so the style should appeal to those who liked that.
Cool!
I have an Xperia Z1 Compact because I'm a discerning consumer.
How many pound coins would it take to leave the shop with it without having committed a crime?
£20 but if you're here before five i should get it for £15 for ya'.

hey! that kind of markup is paying my barely-above-the-legal-minimum wage! That kind of mark-up is what's killing retail stores.
You too man!also lovely meeting you ninjaaaaa!
You too man!
I had to pause for a second when I walked in, the other dude also had a beard. Then I remember you specifically mentioning "big red beard", so I loitered just long enough so others were out of earshot to say "Hey, show me your skeleton?"
Was still half expecting a "wut", haha.
Cable works by the way, cheers for the discount! We'll catch up for a beer soon innit.
Thread is dead. B gaf is no fun.
Hey whatever happened to chat rooms? I remember when I first got the internet I was in them all the time, up all hours chatting to randoms about anything and everything. Made some good friends too. Now it's just people wanting dick pics or whatever. Where do you go if you just want to talk to someone?
I knew someone who had the chat name Philip Pino. HILARIOUS!
(It kind of was at the time. Ah, immaturity. )
How is everyone today?

Shattered. Finishing a night shift in 10 minutes but I've gotta cycle home before I can go to bed. Still, only 1 more night then it's drinks, Zelda concert then off to Cornwall for a week to go surfing (and look at potential wedding venues. But mainly surfing.)
How's things at your end, Sploat?
Sounds like you're nearly at the good stuff
I'm fine thanks Q. This week's been a little bit tricky so far work-wise but I'm looking forward to going to Nottingham on Saturday to visit the Video Game Museum and hanging out with some great dudes.
Is that at the fancy new place that opened up sort of recently?
I think so? I don't know a lot about it other than it being in the Creative Quarter.

Thanks poet!
Yea, that sounds about right, place looks 2fancy4me. I don't trust anything called videogame arcade that doesn't look run down. Probably doesn't even have Street Fighter.
Sploatee is back, the thread is saved! Good to see you dude, hope everything is well.
Go and see Smokey and Reknoc while you're in Nottingham.
I will borrow The Order pretty please!
Ooh have fun in Nottingham, sploats and welcome back. LOL the 'creative quarter'.
If you get the chance, try to eat at Aubrey's Traditional Creperie for lunch. It is incredible. Also, True Red's/Annie's Burger Shack (if you aren't veggie which you probably are) or Alley Cafe for veggie goodness.
Is banofy permad?
And I hope not re banofy. Is jimbor perma'd? What about Tash? I read a post which made me take a sharp intake of breath.
I don't think anyone got perm'd, few weeks to a month.
Did anyone ever go to the Tate modern video game thing? Someone I know went there last year and said quite a few of the exhibits were off and those that were working had dodgy controllers, said it was pretty underwhelming. Shame really.
No, I know Flower is in the Smithsonian collection and the New Yorker did a piece on Fumito Ueda but that's as far as I go with the formal recognition of games as art.
Seems a bit quieter in here today. Why is this? Shall I talk about Demon's Souls?
Everyone's banned, Its like walking through silent hill.
Never owned a ps3 so haven't played demons, looks good though. I do think there's a degree of hipster reverence for the game becasue it was the first.
High five!2 more days until I go to Wembley to listen to a full orchestra play Zelda songs!
Welcome back sploatee.
It's good so far. It's a little bit rough around the edges, and all the character models are much smaller. The bosses feel more like puzzles too. It's absolutely kicking my bottom though. I'd forgotten what my first playthrough of Dark Souls was like.
i waded in to demon's thinking i knew it all, cock-of-the-walk, only to be crushed by the second half of the first stage. pssh.
I wanted to start Bloodborne today but it was sooooo sunny outside. Stupid games releasing when it's not cold and dark.
Wait for the performance patch.
I might wait until someone invents a drug to make people competent at videogames.
