Was a bit skeptical going into it. Even giggled a little bit at the beginning but then as the song continued I was like "wow! I'm moved! That was incredible"
Speaking of music, the company I work for is celebrating 25 years and I decided to take part in the music playlist selection committee.
My task is to pick 3 songs from the year 2007 and I'm kinda finding it difficult to pick 3 songs The year seems to be filled with Rap/RnB tracks but it's trying to find tracks that would be appropriate for an office party.
So far I got:-
The Way I are - Timbaland
Don't Stop The Music - Rihanna
Shut Up and Drive - Rihanna
Misery Business - Paramore
Roc Boys (And the Winner is) - Jay Z
The Pretender - Foo Fighters
Valerie - Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse
Notable omissions:-
Smack That - Akon
Umbrella - Rihanna
Crank Dat - Soulja Boy
Any 2007 tracks I missed out?

My three choices from that list. Was a bit skeptical going into it. Even giggled a little bit at the beginning but then as the song continued I was like "wow! I'm moved! That was incredible"

I have no idea when music came out, I'm terrible with years, but looking at the "Top 100 Selling Pop Songs of 2007" on Google I choose these three. It's slim pickings that year like...
Gwen Stefani - Sweet Escape
My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade
Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
I meant the Top 100 Pop Songs list, not the year as a whole. It's an office party, got to play it safe innit.SLIM PICKINGS??
That list of mine above comes from of some of the best albums of that decade.
Who can call the year that In Rainbows, Favourite Worst Nightmare, Volta, The Flying Club Cup AND Send Away the Tigers slim pickings??

I just got the new Disturbed album. It's incredible, really most fucking excellent. There's a cover on there which I would never have put them down for doing, but they more than pull it off, I think this is honestly one of the best covers I've heard in a really long time.

In Rainbows really is nice.Just popping up to say In Rainbows is great.
As you were.
Singer is a hottie.
Singer is a hottie.Liked the song too
Finished watching Seinfeld. I miss them all already =(
Started watching Nathan Barley. Missed it the first time round and it's a very weird programme to watch in the year 2015.
Anime is like metal; you'll find that diamond eventually but you'll have a lot of shit under your fingernails.
Truth
Nice vid by the way. Definitely in the 10%.
Dark Souls 2 - finished the main campaign and one of the DLC's, I might just put it down now though. Spent ages playing it and even though I think it's fantastic I think I'm maybe done with it. Plus, it is too hard man, it just is. I conquered all the obstacles in my way eventually but it just takes far too much time and effort and ends up being frustrating too often. Plus, the glitchy nature of souls games winds me up, cheesy clipping, geometry that is far bigger than the textures would suggest, cheap AI, etc. I love it and hate it in equal measure!
9/10
When people say a Souls game is "hard", they're saying one of three things:
1) They don't like repeating the same part of a game over and over
2) They don't like when a game gives them a number and then takes it away
3) Either innately or because of psychological friction, that the first two bullet points instantiate in this player's brain; the player is impatient to such a near-total density that exercising patience is "hard," if not impossible.
Here:
Best Souls related article I've ever read (once you get past the opening). You might like it. Almost doubles as a strategy guide.
Not really, I'm saying it's too hard in the fundamental sense.
I did, it's a good read!Okay. You should read the article anyway.
Yeah, I've heard it's very concise and trims a lot of fat from the previous games. I think I'll prefer that to be honest. Never been one to read all the lore and scour every locale.Bloodborne is the best designed Souls games IMO. It lacks the wealth of options right now that you have in DS but it is just a perfection of the design philosophies. Except the chalice dungeons. They are SHIT
That is a good article, I remember reading it a while back. There's a similar one of that awfully formatted Tim Rogers site.
That said, DS2's hitboxes are pretty bad and the way it throws enemy groups at you willy nilly is a bit much. The souls games have never been about group combat except in specifically designed situations. Actually at times, DS2 felt like it believed the hype about the series' difficulty and wanted to ratchet it up. Still a good game.

Also, I've always played the Souls games as a Ninja/dex build which seems to feed right into the way BB plays. It's also probably why I've struggled so much, strength builds deal a lot more damage and can stagger enemies, must be so much easier!
Yeah! Mush you rock!
Rehab's going well dudes. Had a stinker yesterday but it came on the back of two good days. In a row!
I know a lot of people don't like him but I've got a lot of time for Tim Rogers. Always a good read.
Yeah, I was initially disappointed with DS2 but I very quickly grew to love it, flaws and all. It's probably my least favourite of the Souls games, but that still puts it ahead of most other games. The DLC is probably the best bit. I think I need to get this for ye olde PS4...
I've got Bloodbourne. Played a few hours just to see what it was like and take a break from my 75 hour MGSV run... I can already tell that it is probably going to be my favourite of the bunch. Side-stepping is brilliant. Such a classy game in every way. May dip in again tonight if I can pull myself away from MGS.
Damn game better have a katana in it though or I'll have a shit fit.
Ninja/Dex is more than catered for in DS2, just not in terms of damage. Pump your agility stat to between 100-105 and a shield becomes quite unnecessary, unlike DS1 where going without one is a death sentence.
Cheers sploat. Glad to hear rehab is going well. In the new year I am definitely coming up for a visit.
Really looking forward to you starting BB. Would be awesome to finally play some goddamn games with you and chat!
Yeah, I have my Adaptability at 26 which puts my agility at 100. Apparently your iframes are pretty much capped there. To be fair I keep struggling to decide where to level up next, I have dex, end, vit, vgr and adp all soft capped.Ninja/Dex is more than catered for in DS2, just not in terms of damage. Indeed! I'm at a nice point to stop MGS for a bit, so I may start tonight but the way TPP plays is just so damn moreish. I'm gagging to play BB! SO TORN!
Glad to hear you're doing okay, Sploat.
