California, I live here. Their solutions to everything are more taxes and less with rebalancing the current budget. All the politicians here should have their fucking salaries halved, at the very least.

I went to hollywood a long time ago and it was a total shithole. Seems now it spread to the surrounding areas like a cancer, because a few of my opposite minded friends moved out recently. They had more than a few choice words, which surprised me. As for florida, I have some relatives which I visit. Everyone is pretty chill for the most part, and there's a giant mix of cultures going on in some areas. Plenty of things to do, lots of nature, and good restaurants. My only complaint is that florida is huge, so some stuff is a long drive

Florida is better. Seems a lot cheaper to live there. And you are closer to the Caribbean and anywhere across the Atlantic if you want to travel.

I live in Vegas and it's just too expensive for a vacation. I work on the strip and I refuse to go out and eat in the area. I tell everyone that if they're visiting Vegas to visit two nights max. Trust me, you will want to go home after that.

I grew up in SoCal but live in FL now.
California has decent weather and mountains but I raise you the trails and beautiful springs here in FL.
Cost of living and also for whatever crazy stigma there is, I couldn't think of a better state to have lived through the pandemic then Florida.

I agree. I've been to Vegas close to 10 times. Each time it's for the expensive Friday-Sun hotel period (or Monday morning flight). That's enough. 3 days and nights of goofing around, mma fights and gambling is enough. I dont see how anyone can visit Vegas for longer than that unless they are a compulsive gambler or do tons of daily tours like Grand Canyon or golfing.

Same... I've traveled all around the state and it mostly just looks the same... In California, you can see pretty much any kind of landform.. Yosemite by itself is far more beautiful than anything in Florida.. they've got Death Valley.. Mount Shasta.. Its not even close.

Moving to Florida a little over 10 years ago from one of those taxed to hell and back on anything and everything strongholds, was one of the best decisions I've made in life.
