:lol :lol That's pretty hilarious and INSANELY easy to do. I'm always putting my semtex back in my "pocket" if I realize that my target has been killed, so I may have been doing this glitch by accident. oops...

Cohsae said:I'm sick of the system where MVP is ranked based purely on points gained, not on K-D ratio. It makes sense to use the points system to rank people in modes with objectives I think, but in DM it's stupid. I could kick arse and go 50-5 and be beaten by some chump who gets 55-60 or something. They did not contribute more than me.
mcrae said:yeah, but at the same time, if person A goes 25-6, and person B goes 5-1, i would argue that person A contributed a lot more, no?
Neverender said:Uh, well yeah, but in that case Person A would have more points and a higher KD ratio than Person B, so yeah.
Precisely.Insaniac said:no person B has a higher ratio, but I think MVp should be based on Kills minus deaths.

Yeef said:It almost seems unfair to use C4 when playing domination. It's silly how many people fall for it repeatedly within the same match. I've only run unto two people so far that bothered to try to avoid it. One guy would start to cap for a second then back off and wait for it to blow, another guy had a riot shield and just set up shop so that the c4 was on the opposite side of the glass and he took no damage.
Everyone else just gets exploded.
Minamu said:I managed to get myself into a funny situation last week. Was playing HC TDM, I believe, on Invasion. I entered that small room near one of the bomb sites in S&D & was going to plant a claymore there. However, an enemy had entered the same room from the other direction with the same intent :lol We both planted our claymores at the same time, facing each other, thus activating each others mines since the room is like 10 square feet big. Both of us went "oh shit!" & tried to dodge the explosives by diving out of our respective doors.
I had Scrambler Pro. He did not
I assume that the average person just jams on the respawn button as fast as they can the second they die. I don't even watch every killcam, or the full duration of the ones that I do watch, but I've gotten the "most time spent watching killcams" in like a third of the matches I've played. The people who don't watch them at all are really doing a disservice to themselves.Nelo Ice said:apparently ppl dont realize theres killcams or something cuz i keep killing this one guy cuz he camps in the same spot EVERY time :lol
divisionbyzorro said:My favorite use of the claymore is still using it as the ultimate anti-riot-shield weapon. Walk up and drop it right in front of them.
I watch killcams while I am learning the game/maps etc. Eventually you come to know the maps and can be fairly certain where you were killed from.vatstep said:I assume that the average person just jams on the respawn button as fast as they can the second they die. My Xbox got a RROD, so i think i'm getting an elite, but i don't wanna start from scratch.

I've had a bunch of new guys at work join our COD group this time around and I find it much less 'noob-friendly' than COD4. Between some of the overwhelming killstreak support, busier map layouts, more prevalent camping, and all the COD4 old timers quickly adapting, these guys are getting destroyed and overwhelmed on a pretty consistent basis. I wish there was a merc training / newbie playlist where they would only allow the original 3 killstreaks from COD4 and try to filter for players with less than 1 k/d ratio if that's possible. At least have them stand a chance when they're playing alone.

BattleMonkey said:And your not dying does not benefit your team really so why should you be considered more important than the person who scored more points? Since you score points for more than just kills, it would show that a person with a higher score has done more to generally help the team as a whole. K-D ratio is just personal bragging points, but your not dying does not really benefit me.

Agreed, but if your team wins, it doesn't matter. Someone who went 20-25 contributed more than someone who went 15-0. If your team loses, it's a whole other story.divisionbyzorro said:FWIW, I would rather you went 0-0 than 20-25 in a game of TDM.

Outdoor Miner said:I disagree. His not dying meant less kills for the other team. If the object of the game is to score more kills than the other team, then a teammate feeding easy kills to the opposition does hurt.
