Is this shit fucking for real or just a scam?

This person's spelling and grammar are all over the place! Report it immediately!

You can tell if you are infected with the slow-mo lobby, because your menu music and button sound effects will be at 50% speed. Back out to the main menu before you continue playing.

Is the slow-mo shit permanent? Like if somebody goes into one of these lobbies without knowing about this and finishes a game or whatever, will they be stuck with it until IW does something? Or does just backing out to the main menu reset it?

I just went to the main menu and back to multiplayer. That sorted it.

I finally started the campaign last night, and my god, it's like pulling teeth. I can't stand how repetitive and similar every mission is thus far (I just got to London).

Even when something starts out kind of interesting (Africa), it ultimately reverts right back to the typical shooting gallery where, we're clearly out numbered, gunned and the plan has completely failed; yet, here we are - or should I say, here I am - blindly left triggering, right triggering to nail guys who seemingly come from nowhere and know exactly where I am at all times.

That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do everything required for the "team" to move on to the next objective. Why the fuck can't my AI partners kill anyone!? It's ridiculous! And it's EVERY FUCKING MISSION! I'm taking orders from these assholes who are impervious to enemy gunfire, get in my way and do nothing but shoot blanks!

With the online being hit or mission; the maps lacking any real creativity; and the spawns lacking commonsense. It's amazing to me that this game is reviewing as well as it is. The singleplayer campaign seriously feels like its stuck in 2007'.

Pretty sure I got killed by a falling care package last night lol. At least that's what it looked like on the replay. Ever happen to anyone else?

It's happened a few times, both killing myself as well as others. Escort Airdrops are normally the main offender.

I actually felt really bad the other day. I launched a care package down and as it was on its way down one of my teammates spawned and ran right under it and died. I could've sworn this didn't happen in the other games. It either 1)had to be your own care package or 2)an enemy's care package.

I had a death this morning that I could only laugh at. See an enemy SAM turret and just as I'm about to knife the turret, I see an enemy running across. Start shooting him and just then the turret starts shooting at some air support. Wish I was recording that one!

Hey, I uploaded a few of good gameplays if anyone is interested:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3- 6vs6 Domination, 75-9, Mission
This video is actually a pretty good example of me strafing with stalker pro on!

MW3: Kill Confirmed, 58-7, Interchange
Even if you don't check out the whole vid, at least check out 4:17 in the vid, it'll be worth it I swear!

Oh, and an old 100 kill game from Black ops.....

Give me some feedback guys. I mean I want to post a video every once in the while, but if you don't genuinely feel these are any good or don't want me to "spam" my video's, let me know. I actually respect all of your opinions on this kind of stuff, and I'll take whatever you say into consideration

Is it possible to play MW3 multiplayer only? Are there things i'd need to unlock in the single player in order to fully play the multiplayer?

Good gameplay. Sadly though, spinning when you do something = instant video stop. That's annoying as hell. I admit I don't have nearly the kind of gameplay you do, but for a viewer it's ridiculous. Also without commentary of some sort, there are probably thousands of videos like these on youtube. I watch f1st, jiveturkey, markofj, woody, etc for their commentary + gameplay. Gameplay alone is just mundane to me. Those are just my opinions though.

Can I ask what do you use to record? Quality is nice.

I thought it'd be a bit pretentious to assume someone would wanna listen to a commentary from me honestly. Maybe i'll do one in the future though, for now it's just kinda for fun. As for the spinning, I don't do it for no reason, I do it sometimes just to see if I can keep my balance and stop the in the direction I want to face, sort of a warm up thing since I play on a high sensitivity. The thought did cross my mind that it would be obnoxious though, so I'll keep that in mind for future videos.

Hauppauge HD PVR Video Recorder 1212 it's definitely worth it if you have some spare cash.

That makes sense ;). I see Schwindt do that when he's just starting gameplay or he's having controller issues. Commentary could be anything honestly. Talking about gameplay can be a bit dry but you can have fun with it like jiveturkey does. His echo effects and sound bites are pretty cool and original. Whiteboy7thst is also a good commentator I just found out about (I know I'm behind in that one). His commentaries are really cool because he's just flat out honest about himself and his life. You feel like you know him even though you probably won't ever meet. El Presador has his own troll schtick as well. I highly doubt he believes half the crap he says. There are a ton of great commentators out there who run the gamut of funny to serious to trolling to personal stuff. You just have to find your niche and run with it.

I look forward to seeing your first commentary btw. I subbed.

So I played COD multiplayer for the first time and I can see why it's so popular. I'm generally a SP only person these days, and hearing about COD multi for years I was always a bit intimidated to try it out. But with MW3 I decided to give it a shot and...I did pretty well!

In most FPS multi games (especially) consoles I always seemed to get destroyed. Everytime i'd try a Battlefield beta i'd barely ever get a kill. Halo i'd do ok at best. So I played for an hour or two team deathmatch and did pretty well. Never was last in my team (usually second to last) but my K/D ratio usually hung around 1 (my goal). The only time it went south was playing the village map for the first time. I got destroyed there. So many avenues, nooks, etc. heh I didn't like it. On one game I was second on my team.

Although a bit manipulative, the leveling up of everything is pretty addictive. I can see the compulsiveness part of me wanting to fill those meters up! So i'm now level 10 and itching to get back in and play some more.

The highlight so far was getting kills off high leveled up players with my level 5 ish rank and hearing their disgust. hehe

I appreciate it! I think I can provide some insightful commentaries, and go over some stuff I don't usually here other commentators talks about, just wasn't sure if other people would care to much about what I would have to say. I'm actually looking forward to a commentary though, should be fun at least!

I never played MP games until CoD4 for the same reasons. I got hooked on CoD4 and haven't looked back since. If a game has MP, I'm 90% more likely to at least try it out now then ignoring it like I used to do in the past. Once you have a good group of friends to play with, it makes MP instantly fun even if you're losing (most of the time).

Well you never know until you try it. ;)

As long as you're having fun doing it, that's all that really matters. Honestly your gameplay is already there. Once you grow as a commentator, it'll just get better.

Oh, and an old 100 kill game from Black ops.....

Jesus christ I will never be this good. What I find odd about this video is that you went 75-9 and your team did not dominate the game. There were a lot of times where, if i was you, I would have secured the objective. I am guessing you didn't do that because you wanted to get killstreaks so you can rain hellfire from above and clear the area?

Just saw the Black Ops vid my god man you're like a one man army.

Yeah, I try to play the objective but if I'm on a killstreak it becomes a judgement call on what to go for, but if I think I can grab a flag with no opposition I'll go for it even on a high killstreak ( that has gotten buzzkilled a few times, but I get over it pretty quickly ). If I'm losing badly though, thoughts about killstreaks go out the window, capping flags takes precedence

People respawn so quickly that getting alot of kills doesn't always equal dominating the other team, especially if the other team is aggressive. I play solo alot too, so regardless of my performance, whether I win, lose, or dominate can be a crap shoot. Not too long ago I posted in this thread about a 60 something kill game I had with 4 or 5 flag caps and we still barely lost the match.

I'd have to say I disagree. I beat the campaign on Veteran and I thought the friendly AI was pretty good most of the time, particularly with Price's squad.

Pretty sure I got killed by a falling care package last night lol. At least that's what it looked like on the replay. Ever happen to anyone else?

I got killed by my own care package this morning, I was lying in wait away from it when it came down, bounced off some boxes that were a good few meters in front of me and rolled straight onto me.

Was the first care package I had too in MW3, I accidentally went into the assault strike package menu as I always use support and didn't change it back.

Man, I just had some weird as spawn issues while playing Domination on Fallen yesterday. The enemy had capped 2/3 objectives. I was near B, got killed by the enemy, and I spawned directly behind my killer! Weird thing was, everyone was spawning there, and there was a couple of enemies proning/camping. So for the next minute, it was the enemy killing us at our spawn, while we were re-spawning back to where we were killed. Bizarre.

What are the practical differences between the kick and the stability proficiencies? I'm not sure I get it...

Kick reduces actual recoil - Stability reduces sway, that is, the visual movement you see when you ADS.

Sway gets worse the longer you ADS, you can reset it by re-adsing, and the amount of sway varies by gun/attachment. The Mk14 has very little, the M4 has a significant amount.

Sway is generally only relevant for long range shots, and given that you can reset the sway by tapping ads again, I find it to be one of the weaker proficiencies.

Kick is useful on any gun with heavy recoil, less so on guns with little/none.

OK. I understand now. Thanks! ;o)

No. The latest update few days ago.

I thought it was just for a day that I cant join invites, but till now I still cant.

Can do fine on other games. :/

Thats weird. Which platform? I do know that the in-game "join" does not seem to work correctly at all and you have to go to the dash and accept the invite that way on the 360 to join. You also cant send invites to users who are "offline" because it stupidly says "this user is offline." Some of my buddies just play in offline/invisible mode and its a hassle sending invites out.

My biggest issue with the spawn system is when you're playing Domination and you cap a flag and you get killed, and then spawn all the way across the map.

I know it's always been this way and is prob designed that way but its crap to me. You spend all this time capping a point and risking your life for the team and you're rewarded by immediately losing the point when you die. It's bs.

This has probably been mentioned before but when the enemy has a strafe run incoming whip out the stinger and hit the middle helicopter of the pack, you should be set for 4-5 points towards your streak.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.

Yeah, I love those enemy strafe runs for that reason.

... but if you don't, then what are you risking? The idea is to capture and defend the point. If you fail at defending, there's a penalty.

Also, there are measures for point precision spawning.

I have rage quit my last three matches. Why are the shotguns so garbage? It's depressing.

They're not garbage. They just have a pre-determined role that is weaker than in MW2. They can still be improved, sure, but you can still do well with them if you play them smart.

What kind of mush-mouthed equivocating is that? They're not garbage if you use them in their role and play smart?

Dual FMG9s aren't amazing, you can do well with a silenced USP .45 if you play well!

Shotguns in this game are objectively worse than the MW2 shotguns. They received a double nerf in the form of a reversion to primary only and a reduction in statistical performance. On top of that, they are hindered again by the presence of a host of 100% stopping power enabled ARs and SMGs, several of which are insanely good, and have no significant downsides (MP7 I'm looking at you).

The ONLY thing that is keeping shotguns competitive right now is an apparent bug with extended mags giving them 50% more pellets. Combined with Damage, it makes the Striker (gasp) actually effective, particularly with the Specialist proficiency on smaller maps.

But go do 30 levels with the KSG, USAS, or AA12 and tell me shotguns are 'fine'.

Shotguns are stunningly inconsistent due to their low pellet counts, short range, and dependance on close range encounters that bring issues with the net code into stark light, barely match up well against a RF SMG, and are outright inferior on most maps, barring the choice to use Overkill and give up Assassin or any of the other strong red perks.

Yes, I'm bitter.

Most people here hate shotguns. Get used to it. By the way I think the extended mags trick is gone since the latest patch. I miss mw2 shotguns too.

It really is a shame when the majority of the maps look like they were designed to fit shotguns in perfectly, but they get out classed by, well, everything. I have to run akimbo machine pistols as a secondary so when I get fed up with the 3 shell hit markets I can switch and actually kill someone. I don't like using akimbo FMG's. The game forces me to do so.
