Then let's go off numbers from the official site which show GT5 selling over 11 million.

Racing games are still selling millions this gen, just look at Forza and Project Cars. It's also not filled with an abundance of games, unlike the cinematic shooter genre.

The only racing that sell that good is GT all the other don't even get close .
And even GT6 did not sell that great .
TLOU has outsold all other racing games not name GT as a new IP .

EDIT in this thread you can see who has not keep up with sales of games and genres .
Not that i saying TLOU going to out sell GT3.

Unless it has some kind of game changing feature, I highly doubt it. Even 10 million is probably a stretch.
