$35 P5 (PS3) E3 order still looking delicious.
For you and me both. Glad I went after this one early.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is 29.99 on Amazon for PS4. Worth grabbing at that price??

Any deals on Xbox Live? I only really need a months worth, but figured i might as well grab 12 months if there are any deals floating around

Barring any other deals, Costco seems to have the cheapest pricing on a year's worth of XBL.

I usually get mine there when I'm close to expiry.
I don't have a Costco membership, is one required?
Not for online purchases, though the online pricing is usually more than in-store to compensate for that and shipping.
That code is just e-mailed, though, and I don't think it's any cheaper in the warehouse either.
It's official, I had to cancel my $48 MGS pre-order from BB because they wouldn't change my shipping info. They wouldn't even cancel the order and re-order it for me for the same price.
I don't know how anyone ever got their address changed. Two emails, three calls. It's not worth the effort anymore.

Whaat? I had few orders and moved in the meantime. Yes they cancelled the orders but adjusted the new one with same price. Yeah don't buy it unless all you want to do is experience Dinklage before he is wiped out from the game.Is it worth picking destiny up for 10 bucks or will it be pretty worthless without the previous and upcoming expansions?
At $10, I can't call it worthless because the game still has a ton of content and vanilla Destiny still receives some fundamental changes coming with the TTK update for free (including a revamped levelling system and reorganized mission structure). Is it worth picking destiny up for 10 bucks or will it be pretty worthless without the previous and upcoming expansions?

However, as someone who's recently tried getting back into Destiny after putting it down a year ago, you do reach a bit of a wall where by the nature of the game being social and catering to higher level/dedicated players who have the expansions, you just can't do the things everyone else is doing (like Raids) as easily, and are locked out of some things that were available to everyone at launch (i.e. Weeklies, Nightfalls) because they now require expansions).

Also, did Amazon or Best Buy ever put up Persona 5 for pre-order? I can't remember if I have it pre-ordered, but it's not listed on either site now...
Yeah, I have the PS3 preorder... but obviously I'd rather have it on PS4. Oh well, I guess I'll have to buy an 80 dollar game this year.Best Buy had it up during E3 2013 for PS3, but then took it down sometime between then and E3 2015. I don't think it's even been on Amazon.ca.
I agree, especially considering IMO the game gets much better after you go through the story stuff once and then it starts cranking the difficulty up in different ways (and presumably with expansions). The thing is, as a single player game it's boring, and if you are serious about playing the game, you're going to want to buy all the expansions anyway. You can't even buy TTK digitally without owning the previous DLCs, although I assume they'll change that at some point.
Would it be possible to post a pic of the receipt?Prolly been posted but Pokemon ORAS Is ringing out at 29.99 at walmart even if the sticker says 44.99, not a huge deal but this is a Nintendo game so probably won't get better than this.

Probably the only deal would have been during E3.I agree, especially considering IMO the game gets much better after you go through the story stuff once and then it starts cranking the difficulty up in different ways (and presumably with expansions).
I guess the dilemma here is whether to try it with the $10 version and then bite the bullet with expansions later if everything checks out, or just pick up the TTK LE. I would still recommend people check out the demo/F2P version to gauge whether they like the mechanics or not, because their progress from that will carry over if they do end up purchasing something. If you're worried about endgame this early, there should be no question and people should go for the TTK LE.
I'm refreshing RFD daily looking for deals on the TTK LE but I think I'm SOL
I see, thanks. They have the blue version pictured in their flyer, but both are on sale (I posted on first page, I think).

In the market to get a new Iphone (my 4 just broke today; cracked screen among other issues). Will the Iphone 6 drop in price next month when they announce the new model? Or will it take some time?
Won't drop in price, but telecom companies will increase the amount they subsidize (ie. $0 on 2 year term or whatever but you're still "paying" for the rest of it through the term with how awful plans are priced). So if you're one for contracts, do it. If you're not, buy a OnePlus One or something and save on not having to get a stupidly priced plan (I'm assuming you'd want to keep your old plan at whatever price you're currently paying)
The iPhone 5S launched in Canada for $729. It's now selling for $719
When it comes to any business I find that when it has to do with payments, there quick to process your order. They don't want any problems receiving their money. ;pFinally bit the bullet and called up Best Buy last night to change the payment info on the 2013 Future Shop pre-orders I have for MGS5 and Star Wars Battlefront.
Totally painless, took five minutes on the phone. Was expecting it to be way worse
Looking forward to getting both for $40![]()

That's not true. It should totally drop in price when the new phone is released. The challenge is determining exactly whether their cheaper phone will actually be the 6 that we know right now (plus, the question of a price drop is a bit muddier, due to our crappy exchange rate).
The iPhone 5S launched in Canada for $729. It's now selling for $719, but the 5S price actually dropped $80 when the 6 was released (http://mobilesyrup.com/2014/09/09/iphone-5s-and-iphone-5c-prices-drop-after-new-phone-launch/). At some point in the last year, Apple tweaked prices for exchange rates (the iPhone 6 launched at $749 and is now $839). There's no guarantee they won't adjust them further.
Another question is, will the 6 be modified in any way (is there an 8GB version on the way, for example)? Will there be some sort of 6"C" iPhone instead of a continued offering of the 6?
I just noticed that Amazon.com has two separate SKUs for Fire Emblem Fates listed now. Does anyone know what happened to people's pre-orders of the single SKU? Kind of concerned about how Amazon.ca is going to handle it...

Has anyone seen any good deals for Pokemon Y? Apart from Emerald and FireRed/LeafGreen (which I'll have to try to find on Kijiji or eBay) it's the only games in the series I'm missing.

Sorry, if it drops $10 I'm technically wrong![]()
Of course I look at the order now and it's still sitting at full price. Come on BB, don't make me call a third time.
