I saw that this morning. It seems like a decent deal -- essentially the same as regular price on other bundles -- and $50 more than the frequent sales, with a just-released game, a 1TB drive and a year of EA Access. Those three things combined seem like they're worth the $50, if you're interested in Madden/sports games in general.

If I didn't just pick up an Xbox (and have Madden preordered from E3 on PS4), this would really get the wheels turning in my head.

Hoping EA Access prepaid cards come north soon. I might just attach a credit card to my MS account, but I really don't like to have a payment card linked to it.
 
That's a decent deal. You get an extra 500gb of hard drive space and a year of EA access for the same price as the 500GB vanilla bundles. I'd rather have FIFA though and I can only pay for my console with trade credit at the moment.
 
So even the Sega 3D Classics games on 3DS are more expensive here now... Gunstar Heroes is $7.90 instead of the usual $6. :(
 
My buddy in Canada is looking for a PS4. He's wondering if there are any sites setup that track/list sales on the consoles, or any reliable place that sells (warrantied) refurbished PS4s. Any leads?

I got the Wii version back in the day for my mother and she likes it but I never gave it a fair shot. I wanted to add to my usual workout routine so I decided to get the Wii U version for myself.

It's great for the yoga/stretching and the live feedback is welcomed. I made a 20 minute routine on top of my usual 30 minute workout and the results are fantastic. The stretching really helped ease the tension in my shoulders.

The best thing about this? I can do all the exercises with the Gamepad propped up on my fireplace mantle. No big screen required.
 
For those looking for a PS4, the Taken King bundle is on shop.ca. Google "shop.ca coupons" for a $75 off code (applied after taxes). Works out to about $433 or so all in.
 
I like Wii Fit U a lot too. I do a 1 hour custom routine every day since I got it over 3 weeks ago. There's a lot more activities than Wii Fit and they're genuinely fun to me.

I love that you can just use the game pad. I can watch TV or even play other consoles while doing exercises.
 
Why is it that XBONE has deals similar to the US in terms of price, yet the PS4 isn't even close to the value. I know because of the dollar PS4 is more expensive but why is it not applying to MS XBONE?

Competitive advantage? PS4 launched strong so maybe Microsoft didn't adjust the price to give them an edge here.
 
Anyone want to wager if the 2ds price drop from 129.99 to 99.99 will happen in Canada? Our dollar is pretty bad, but the Wii U price is still the same.

Guess we'll find out on the 30th.

I was wondering the same thing. I think they'll split the difference somewhere. $109.99, maybe? I would say $119 is more likely, but it almost doesn't seem significant enough to even offer.

Microsoft has deeper pockets than Sony and can afford to take losses to try and get more sales. Plus PS4 is still selling well, even at a high price, so why would they adjust? The Canadian market is already small, and so they probably don't even care.

More or less. No one wanted it before but they forced in on consumers anyway. It only took Sony kicking their ass for them to see the light.

To be fair, due to our terrible dollar $399 USD is $520 CAD. So $449 CAD isn't too bad. I'm still glad I picked one up when it was $399 though.

Wii U: $200 (Random Best Buy clearance back when $200 was a really good price for a Wii U)
PS4: $320 (Friend's employee discount at Loblaws + crazy points weekend)
Xbone: Free (with Assassin's Creed Unity and Black Flag and two years of Live, I know a guy)
3DS XL: Free (Won it from Nintendo on Twitter)
Vita: $100 (with 8gb memory card, bought it from a friend)

You could try and buy a new 500gb hard drive, put it in there for when you ship it out, then once you get it back put the old one in. Worst case scenario you end up the same way as you would've without swapping hard drives. Keep the box though, so you can format it and return it.

Wii U: $249 + Nintendoland and Mario World + $85 worth of in store SDM points.
PS4: $399 before the price increase
3DS: $100 new thanks to tsilon, way back a few years ago when it was usually $200 I think
Vita: ... Full Price
 
Well I had to decide before it shipped out, and the 2nd casualty of the e3 preorders has happened.

Cancelled Until Dawn. Don't have enough time as it is to play the games I genuinely have a lot of interest in, and with MGS5 coming out in just over 10 days, I really doubt I'd get around to playing UD anytime soon. Despite saving $25 off the launch price, by the time I'd get around to it, it'll probably be available for cheaper.

Man, the decision to cancel these e3 preorders is so much harder to make than it should be thanks to the standards prices these days.

I really enjoyed it last year and I didn't touch the co-op. That being said, I've only played a couple AC games so if you've got any shred of AC fatigue, it's probably not going to do anything for you, even with co-op. For me, it's totally worth $10.
