LA has a 9% sales tax. That'll eat into $60 of your $150 savings. You sure you want to risk having no warranty?
This has probably already been talked about... but I recently subscribed to Amazon Prime and wanted to get my E3 pre-orders the additional 20% off and upgraded shipping.
After about 30 mins in an Amazon support chat... I'll be enjoying Battlefield 1 this Friday (release day delivery) for $39.99 CAD! The 20% prime discount is apparently going to be applied once the shipment is sent (so fingers crossed it works).
Very nice that this 20% discount stacks with other promotions (like E3).. either intentionally or unintentionally.

Just the usual reason that Amazon.ca does not have it in stock so you're seeing 3rd party quotes. Look for the prime logo if you want something from Amazon themselves.
Because the amazon sellers are setting the prices. If the seller isn't amazon.ca, then you can see prices all over the place. Like how the Core set is at MSRP, then $890 right after.

No, it's an error. In most cases, you would need to go into chat and see if you can trick an agent into adding that extra Prime discount. Not something I condone.
I hope no one is buying those seeing as you can just walk into a store and buy it, at least where I am I was able to (GTA). You might not find stock at every store, but more than half within 20km had stock when I checked on the weekend.
Yeah, bundle stocks are getting a bit light, but still plenty of standalone headsets everywhere.
Hoping Sony releases more launch bundles, because that's the clear seller due to the money saved with the camera + controllers.

Yes, especially if the seller is from China. I have seen numerous obvious scams on Amazon lately so I would not be surprised if you saw one too. No one will sell anything at half of retail price or below except a scammer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make the E3 promo anymore... with the prime stuff and all.
I know it may be the same shit to you but delaying a release from the Tuesday is different to me than giving early access on a weekend (Gears for example).
Have the game come out on the Tuesday it's supposed to come out and give deluxe editions an early release. I game during the week, not on a weekend so it's more convenient to me.
I think it's more likely they'll give everyone 20% off at E3 while Prime members get bumped up to 30% off.
Yeah, that's what I'm counting on, they'd get some money from new prime members that way, why not?

That's what I initially thought they were trying to tell me because the email just came out of the blue but I think it's just a reminder email that it's going up.

That's like buying a pair of shoes for 20$ on sale but then they raise the price and you have to go back to pay the shoe store more lol
It's not a reminder email. Because of the price increase Sony had to turn off auto-renew for everyone. They desperately want everyone to turn it back on.
Prime gets 20%, every one else, 10%.
