RE Engine is amazing and pretty underrated imo. They should definitely commercialize it for licensed use.

Hopefully they work on the harsh specular and reflection noise. Never got the love for their visuals when they look so coarse and crispy.. not to mention the straw hair. Not saying there aren't a lot of great looking elements in the frame, just that they have a habit of undermining it with these flaws.

Proper framerate modes would be nice too. Just releasing games with unlocked framerates that never hit display refreshes while also being too low for VRR is just unacceptable practice. 30fps locks, 40fps modes, VRR toggles..

id guess they used the Insomniac Engine.

But that still doesnt hold a candle to NorthLight Engine for RT/PT implementation.
