Impossible to tell from our perspective with regards to when she has been lying. No idea if the cops initially took pictures, but her mugshot, taken some 4 days after his arrest, shows no bruising from the front view but I have no clue if bruising would still be visible 4 days later.

According to this, police arrested him in response to a third party complaint. Evidence and witness testimony seemed to indicate the domestic violence.

Taylor was placed into the custody of UGA Police at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday in response to a third-party complaint that he had physically assaulted his girlfriend during a domestic dispute at McWhorter Hall dormitory. Police said evidence and witness accounts indicate the 6-foot-4, 340-pound Taylor “choked” and “struck with a closed fist” his 5-11, 170-pound female victim.

I'm no fancy Southern lawyuh, but he hasn't had his trial yet for his offenses at UGA. I believe that's in June. So as far as I know, I don't know that his guilt has been established thus far.
