So, the Tunsil thing may be getting a lot more interesting. According to his stepfather, the argument was due to Tunsil "riding around with football agents." And apparently, that's not a news story yet?

Lindsey Miller, the stepfather of Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil, told Lafayette County Sheriff's Department deputies on Thursday night that he and Tunsil's mother were arguing about Tunsil "riding around with football agents" at the time of the incident that led to Tunsil's arrest, according to a police report obtained by The Clarion-Ledger on Tuesday morning.

Tunsil, who is projected to be a top five pick in next year's NFL draft, was arrested on charges of domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted his stepfather on Thursday in defense of his mother, Desiree Tunsil, coach Hugh Freeze said in a statement released Saturday.

According to the police report, when deputy Rudy Howell arrived at the scene at 7:19 p.m. Thursday night, Miller was "very excited" and told Howell that "Tunsil and the agents" left in a yellow convertible.

Domer running back, Greg Bryant, has been suspended 4 games for a violation of team rules.

One of the Steubenville players convicted of rape will be attending a community college in Nelsonville, OH and will be on their football team.. Hocking College specifically. I'm guessing he may even be beyond something that Auburn would pick up in a couple years, but it's Auburn, so I'm never surprised. I'm joking, but I'm pretty sure there's a conference rule now prohibiting those types of players from coming to a conference school. Think it's the Jonathan Taylor rule.

A former high school football player found delinquent in the rape of a 16-year-old girl wants to play at the community college level.

A statement from Hocking College spokeswoman Michelle O'Brien confirmed that Trent Mays will be attending the college for the fall 2015 semester and will be on the football team, which is just starting up.

Mays, a former Steubenville High School student, also was found delinquent of using his phone to take a photo of the nude victim. Mays, now 20, will not be permitted to live in campus housing due to his past crime.

Didn't Jameis just sign a big fat contract?? wtf man!

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a shoplifter who made off with $294 worth of snow crab legs from an Ingles in Cartersville.

The man grabbed up 13 boxes of the prized seafood just after 10 a.m. on Monday, the sheriff’s office announced in a Facebook post.

Authorities are asking that anyone with information that might help them identify the man, who can be seen in photos taken by store video, contact the sheriff’s office at 770-382-5050 ext 6024.

Sounds like the stepfather said the only thing he could that would actually hurt Tunsil.

Could be. Supposedly the argument his mom and stepfather were having was about him riding around with these guys, and then they come in and Tunsil pushes him and hits him, then the "agents" pull him off and they leave. That's the stepfather's version of the story anyway. I think Tunsil is a good kid and a ridiculous athlete, and we'll see what happens, but there were definitely rumors when he flipped to Ole Miss at the last minute regarding a scholarship that his girlfriend got to the school shortly before he flipped.

Harabguh was on Cowherds show today, and lets just say it didnt go so great....

“I’ve been in the business 10 years, folks. That was a clunker,” Cowherd said. “There’s not much I can do about that. I tried. I asked every open-ended question I could. He had nothing to say. I love him. I love Jim Harbaugh. I was trying to go somewhere. I was going back to my interview tricks. Why, what, how? Nothing to say. … He’s a very intense guy. He’s different. People in San Francisco said he’s difficult. The two or three guys I know in San Francisco that didn’t love Harbaugh, I guarantee they’ll text me, ‘That’s why he didn’t last in San Francisco. You can’t have a conversation. He’s very intense.’

"If they don’t want to talk, they don’t want to talk. Nothing I can do. If you’re an 18-year-old kid and just heard Jim Harbaugh on my show, I choose Urban Meyer and Ohio State. I would. I would go to Jim Mora or Steve Sarkisian or Nick Saban or Charlie Strong. I try to make everybody sound good. Have fun, lighten it up, sell your program.”

Harbaugh is a really awkward guy. I don't get why Cowherd has to apologize for Harbaugh and talk about how much he loves him. That's pretty irrelevant to an interview and not professional. Then again, this is Cowherd, but I do my best to avoid listening to or watching anything he does and this reminds me why.
The irony is that he explains why he handled that difficult interview in that way. People just want to find a way to hate on him and he's arguably the best guy on the radio who talks interesting things and finds interesting interviews. He's interviewed Kimmel, Seinfeld, and Seth McFarland in the last ~month or so as well as some authors. And it's generated interest as he knows. He's fully acknowledging it as a dumpster fire and I love it.

I get my sports fix too but the guy is flat out human and interesting. Sometimes I wonder if people don't like Herd then who does it better? I like Rome, Lebbatard, The Mother ship, Loose Cannons, and a few others. They each do some unique things but Colin is flat out entertaining.

I dont mind Colin's show, once you accept that 90% of what he says he doesnt believe and is just doing it for listeners it gets so much better.

I would say Dan Patrick and SVP are better, though SVP just stopped doing radio since he has some late night thing starting up on ESPN in the fall.

He also understands what his users want. That's why he checks thebphlse of his listeners via email and sees what the consumer wants to hear. Then he brings humor and his unique wit to it. I'm laughing or learning something all the time from him.

SVP and Dan Patrick are completely different ends of the spectrum from Cowherd to me. If I want actual good sports talk I listen to them, if I want "trash" radio then i go with Colin.

FWIW, Ted Miller from ESPN from the ESPN Pac 12 blog said that Harbaugh can be a lot more engaging when he wants to be. He claims this is all part of Harbaugh's mind games.

The problem with Cowherd's show is not that he says things he doesn't believe, but that his listeners actually believe those things and then try to talk to me about them.

Cowherd is fine, from all I've heard. At least he has takes.

ESPN has a dude, Jorge Sedano, later in the day that has no original takes at all, he'll quite literally take what somebody just said on his show and restate it like it's his own perspective. He presents takes that are almost cliché at this point as some interesting insight. I can't listen to him, he's useless on the radio. Give me Cowherd, Russillo, LeBatard. They're good at what they do. Sedano? Move him to the 3AM shift.

Mind games with whom? He sounded like a complete douche devoid of a personality on a nationally syndicated radio show. There's literally nothing to be gained from that.

Edit: as long as he wins, he'll be able to get away with being a wooden douche. But I guarantee that the moment he slips, even Michigan fans will start complaining about his lack of a personality.

I agree, that's just his personality. He was like that as well on the NFL rookie draft series they did with Gurley, Gordon, Winston, etc. I remember him talking to Winston and it just being really awkward with instances of Harbaugh saying something weird and just staring at Winston.

In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker.

I'd like to see some samples of what questions Harbaugh thinks are appropriate for a host to ask a CFB coach. Harbaugh was solely responsible for that disaster.

Ive seen and heard several interviews with Harbaugh in the past. He always has a little awkwardness but nothing like this. I don't think he really wanted to do this interview or cared for the way Cowherd approached it.

His brother got a football scholarship too. (Still worth it)

I don't blame Ole Miss for playing dirty, wish we had done that too. They went a step further than most do. Usually it involves offering the top recruit's best friend who has no other major offers.
