CFBWeek5: Clempsoning | klmsneng | Verb | to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Well, at least Watson is our starter from here on out. Too bad he can't kick field goals.

Also, we play UNC this week, and even we can't fuck that up.

That kid looks so out of it. :jnc

This is the worst football season ever.

I hate everything and everyone.

How are you browns fans not used to this by now? its been going on for literally your lifetime! As a bengals fan I came to term (in the late 90s early 2000s) that we suck. So when we lose now I dont even care, its almost comforting when we lose.

WHOO! Big mover, mother fuckers! You, up in the top 10, you best be prepared, you are about to get crushed! YEAH! 25 people just plain suck at picking!

Granted, it is best that you ignore the fact I just went up 25 places and am still outside of the top 10, but still! YOU ALL SUCK!

Man, that guy's face was terrifying. Thanks for showing it to me again!

On Florida/Bama: I don't think any of us expected a win, but man that 21 points really isn't indicative of how bad our offense was. You could potentially say that we're marginally better on offense than last year, except now we don't even have a great defense. Muschamp gonna Muschamp. As I said in the last thread, I don't see Driskel getting all the snaps this week at practice. Harris is probably being considered as an option. Is this a good idea? Probably not, but Mushchamp has to do something to energize the offense.

On Clempson: I was watching the game with some extremely nervous FSU fans and I assured them that the 4th quarter would be full of Clempson being Clempson. I was right.
Are we all back on the Fire Muschamp bandwagon? Because I was all about that life the last two seasons. I saw some on tv excusing him due to injuries, but the team just isn't good anymore. Talent isn't there on offense. Will doesn't know his ass from his elbow when it comes to recruiting a QB, so I'm not all that confident in his backup being any better.

Muschamp has pretty much hitched his wagon to Driskel, and I have no clue why. I keep hearing he can run, but I don't really see it. He's not an outstanding athlete, and is injury-prone to boot. He can't throw, has poor vision, and poor decision making. Did Muschamp promise this kid the moon to get him there? It's mind-boggling.

Anyway, I'm just riding out these Muschamp years, which are somehow much worse than the Zook years. He barks on the sidelines, but the team doesn't play with any of that fire. If he's not gone next year, I'm going to be pissed. PEACE.

63. I could see him going back to UNC or something, but not to a traditional power or anything.

Army* aint gonna coach itself

*In Mack's closing press conference when he mentioned he was offered coaching jobs immediately after resigning, it was heavily rumored Army was one of those offers.

Driskel had a few very solid runs yesterday.

Jeff Driskel stats in 6 career games vs. top-20 teams: 74-135 (55%), 760 yards (127 yards avg. per game), 7 TD, 11 TO (6 INT, 5 FL).

I saw on the EDSBS Twitter that Zona is 3 wins better since hiring Rich Rod than Michigan is during the same time span. Sometimes the grass isn't always greener.

That Spurrier post game interview was hilarious. Just can't get over how bad his team looked. I mean, I'd be thinking the same things, but it's hilarious when he says it.

UGA opened as 19 point favorites over Tennessee. I'd buy quickly at that spread. No way UGA covers 19. Honestly, I'd put us somewhere between 3-7 until our secondary demonstrates they won't leave the middle of the field wide open every play.

The fun n gun has been replaced by the solid run. Meh.

That's starting quarterback quality right there. :(

I dream of how fast Spurrier would've benched this bum back in his day. I still remember Terry Dean being an early season heisman contender, and Steve yanked him for Wuerrfel during a bad game, and the rest was history. Driskel has got to be one of the worst Gators QBs in decades. I don't really count the travesty that was Trey Burton at QB, as he was like Plan F that year. PEACE.

I know Arkansas didn't look too impressive this week, but I'm nervous seeing all these picks for 20+points for a&m. You can't use the SMU game to judge our run defense, use Rice. Our very fast offense will leave our defense out there too long. I'll of course pick the Aggies, but only by 7-10.

The opening week games are still fresh in everyone's heads.. Not saying Arkansas can't keep it close, but it's probably the biggest influence on the spreads being picked.

I'm choosing to live this week under the assumption that getting rid of our defensive coordinator and promoting from within has turned our defense into the '85 Bears.

Get ready for the PAIN, Gondo.
