Charlie Kirk assassinated at Utah campus event

I feel sorry for you, seems like you only have hate and jealousy in your heart
Oh please, trying to whitewash the political right as being all about peace, love and inclusion is some next level gaslighting. Some of the very policies that get support run contrary to that. Obviously I don't believe the far left rhetoric that everyone on the right are Nazis, but neither do I believe that the right is full of peaceful angels.

The gospel... give me a break. The president saying "I don't wish the best for my opponents, I hate them". That gospel?

I agree that Trump doesn't speak or act like a Christian. But Frank Turek preached the gospel very well during his talk, and so did Charlies wife by forgiving the psychopath who killed her husband

Her speech was legit perfect. If you're simply human, it should have moved you. Religious or not, she was an example today of the love preached in the Gospel.

On German state television, a Protestant pastor said the following words about Charlie Kirk in the christian "Message for Sunday" segment:

"And the poison continues to spread where a far-right racist is trivialized as a conservative who supposedly inspired young people. And now it gets even more absurd: simply saying what is, already leads to the accusation that one is justifying a murder. That is a total distortion.
Diabolos. The Distorter. That's what the Bible calls the devil. The answer set against this is: truthfulness. And: love.

sure, the right is not full of angels, but watch the difference how the conservative mourn one of their own VS how the 'progressives' mourn a career criminal

Let this be clear to you the good America vs the evil America

Dom Lucre has among the most community notes for false claims on the entire platform. Best not to use him as a source.
I mean if you're going into this rabbit hole, a good chunk of Unknown Solider's posts are questionnable tweets. I mean good for him if he enjoys his tweeter timeline, but I don't think posting everything here, even unverified stuff, is helpful

I'm sorry I don't distill my viewpoints to a brief tweet meant as a gotcha moment. I look at actions, policies, and what people across a wide spectrum actually say. Both the far left and far right would have you believe half of the USA are evil.

Because look, evil America:

It's far more nuanced than that. America isn't made up is solely two political sides with one being obviously evil and the other one being obviously good.

I mean....this is the actual tweet.

I'm not seeing what is being sourced wrong here?

It was satire? Are you really this dumb / brainwashed? Jesus christ man. You're just spam posted bullshit brainrot like a russian bot. Get a grip.

People like you are the reason politics was (is?) banned here. No common discourse, just spamming out shite.

The all caps tweets are an attempt to satirize Trump's proclamations.

e.g.

Use your brain. Gavin Newsom can't ban Kid Rock from performing in California.

The tweet was intended as a reference to the "controversy" over suspending Kimmel from his TV show because of blatantly false remarks he made on publicly broadcasted TV

You can't simultaneously proclaim this is "the death of the 1st amendment" and "government tyranny" as some posters have tried to claim here while also posting parody tweets like this satirizing the very same "controversy", it's an example of trying to have it both ways and it's fair to call that kind of activity out!

President Trump is speaking as the President. It is good and proper that his instinctive response is not to turn the other cheek. You can choose to do that or not in your private life; a President has a duty to take action when the people are being threatened by an increasingly violent group.

Everyday people wish Trump dies an excruciating death, you have political opponents on stage saying they check daily if he's finally dead, almost got his head shattered on live tv, and these hypocrites expect him to go around wishing peace and love to his opponents.

If Trump has any quality is authenticity.

Dude is the opposite of Jesus, so it isn't surprising. I mean, when you're on the Epstein list, flew with him over and over and wired money to him on several occasions saying that he hates his opponents is tame compared to what he really is.

BLM riots 20+ killed, $2 billion damages, 1000+ stores burnt and looted nationwide. If you think January-6th is comparable, then you really are retarded

Hope we're not doing that thing where we paint an entire half of the political spectrum with the same brush as a few psychos.
Those celebrating it and advocating for more of the same deserve to be painted with the same brush, and they are far more numerous than just 'a few'.

Those unwilling to condemn the act yet rushing to defend those who celebrate it and advocate for more should not be too surprised if they get splashed with paint.

Did I say it was comparable? Or did I simply point out that pretending that the right is full of kumbaya singing, hand holding lovable scamps is simply fantasy?

Just after that Trump said maybe Erika and her team can change his mind. And right before Trump's speech Erika gave a powerful speech where she even forgave his husband's murderer.

There was a lot of gospel shared in that event.

January 6th was a mostly peaceful protest against a coup in progress -this is the position of the current US administration- with the only killing being an unarmed protester who was gunned down. It was remarkably peaceful given the stakes and how well armed those citizens are. That they failed to mostly peacefully prevent it resulted in tens or hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians being killed.

Those who tried to prevent it have since been pardoned by the US government and the protester killed has had her military honors restored.

If an unarmed protester wrapped in a BLM flag had been gunned down by police at a mostly peaceful protest, most of America would have been burned down and the person responsible would be in prison or dead right now.

Well done. This level of gaslighting yourself is a feat few people achieve.

What about that policeman who died of a stroke the next day after being attacked by protesters? Seems an odd thing to want to gloss over if you're trying to be factual and present a fair account.

By design. Here's what The Independent said about him in their "Everything we know" article

Robinson grew up in the conservative southern Utah city of Washington with his mom, a trained social worker who works at Intermountain Support Coordination Services; dad, a police officer and kitchen fitter; and two brothers, social media pictures suggest.

He has been described as "quiet" by people who know him, as well as a straight-A student. His grandmother claimed she had "never" heard her grandson discuss politics. However, family members told investigators that Robinson had become "more political" in recent years.

Utah voting information seen by The Independent shows the 22-year-old's voter status is "inactive," meaning he has not voted in the last two general elections or responded to notices sent by a county clerk.

His party affiliation is listed as "unaffiliated," while both his parents are registered Republicans, according to state voter records.

"Most of my family members are Republican. I don't know any single one who's a Democrat. I'm just so confused," the suspect's grandmother, Debbie Robinson, 69, told the Daily Mail. Pictures on social media show Robinson dressed in a Trump costume for Halloween in 2017.

You fell for another orchestrated puppet media hoax unfortunately, which started at many police officers being slain and ended up at the real number, which was zero. Thankfully the American people finally saw through the deception and gave the wronged party a landslide victory too big to overcome, and President Trump has been able to right many, though not all, of the problems which arose from that hoax.

We have witnessed another couple play out over the course of this thread, from the factually false quotes attributed to Charlie Kirk to the false claims about the motive being that Charlie Kirk wasn't right wing enough. It is the same playbook every time: lie loudly and quickly and hope enough people have stopped paying attention by the time the truth comes out.

Not glossing over anything. You were tricked into believing he was murdered when he died of natural causes. With enough people at an event, some will die in and around the time of it. I believe multiple protesters also died of natural causes. I believe the hoax about the cop you are referring to even started out with him being bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher. It was pure fiction intended to deceive people, and it worked.

People getting triggered because in a funeral they preach a message of peace and love are the same who hate Christmas. They can't stand the idea of a world with good intentions and noble acts, because they see it through lenses smeared of ideological shit.

It's at that pòint when you should start questioning your core values and reflex on how you became such an asshole.
