While a new arc will be the main element of the latter season, they could still have time for minor changes to make the transition easier; for example, I remember Fedak saying the Chuck vs. Shaw Intersect battle would have come in Chuck versus the Other Guy had last season not been extended (instead, the fight was in Chuck versus the Subway/Ring Part 2)
They might tinker with things slightly, but my working assumption is that they had more time to tweak S2 than they will for S3. It's just a guess on my part, but I'm sure we'll hear about it in an interview sooner or later in any case.

I am kind of thankful that there is no Chuck tomorrow, as I have to close at work again. No having to wait until Tuesday for it to post on Hulu this week!

But I am extremely sad I do not get a weekly new Chuck fix.

Me too. I'm rather busy this week, I'll be able to work instead of watching TV :lol

Now that December break is another story...

Why are nearly all gifs from NBC shows from CityTV? Is there this one guy that always gets it online quickly or something? Nearly every gif that gets up fast from NBC stuff has the CityTV watermark.

Not sure about other shows, but Citytv used to air Chuck anywhere between an hour and a day before NBC during most of S2 and S3 (they dumped it this season though :()

There was one person that posted a ton of gifs from S1 and S2 every week based off the CityTV feed, so I have a lot of their gifs saved.

EDIT: Ah, it might have something to do with what Revo said, as well. Though there was one source that would post 10-20 per episode a few years ago, and they were always CityTV watermarked.

Same goes for Community and the city TV watermark. Or at least screengrabs and pics from elsewhere. I know snesfreak does a lot of the gifs for that, but elsewhere online it is tons of City TV watermarking.

Started to watch Chuck and I'm at the end of season 2.
S02E02 was the best episode so far with the "real" Bond.

I can easily see 10-12 season of will they, wont they sexual tension that ultimately go nowhere.
But I hate his whining about how he wants his old life back without a fake girlfriend so he can have no girlfriend.
she should have gone with the MI6 Brit, he was awesome.

How I Met Your Mother is the same way.

WHAT THE FUCK!?!

Why no Chuck today?!?! I was looking forward to it all weekend. I thought there was gonna be no Chuck in a few weeks, not today!!

I added the Episode 4.13 title (Chuck vs. the Push Mix) and the short summary to Episode 4.10 to the OP.

Episode 4.10 - Chuck vs. the Leftovers
Chuck’s mom comes over for “Thanksgiving leftovers” dinner the day after the holiday; Morgan and the rest of the Buy More crew deal with the busiest shopping day of the year.

Hmmm, maybe Chuck was helping NBC on Monday after all:

NBC’s Monday woes continue to grow as the Matt Lauer interview of George W. Bush scored just a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating, and its later shows tumbled. The Event fell 15% (vs. 10/25) to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating, and Chase was down 6% (vs. 10/25) to just a 1.2 rating.

How could, "Let's talk about waterboarding...<smug smile>" possibly have backfired for ratings?!? :lol

So I caught up on three weeks of Chuck over the weekend, but then I just missed yesterday's episode. I feel like the fact that I'm not watching the show when it airs, or the day of on my DVR means I am losing interest in the show. :(

It was a rerun yesterday.

Not a rerun, it was preempted by an interview with George W. Bush.
You mean that was real? I thought it was a Chuck rerun! They just let that dude get away with torture? Jesus.

Next week should be interesting, and a positive no matter what happens. If The Event is steady or up next week, the rise will be attributed to Chuck, which could be propping it up at this point (the 15% drop is higher than anything it's seen since the first 3 weeks after its premiere); if it drops, Chuck improves its relative ratings some more. Win-win, guys!

So I watched the last episode.

While I enjoyed it at first, in retrospect, it makes no fucking sense.

When chuck met the "handler" at the pub, what was the point of being kidnapped? He clearly believed the handler, they could have gone from there straight to the bank.

Ok, so lets assume for a second that Volkov really wanted chuck to believe his story. Fine, they get taken. What was the point of the plane? Why not some warehouse? How was jumping off a plane and taking a sheep van home helpful?

And then again, the whole scene at the bank....? Why? Why not show chuck the triangle disks and go from there? Why the attack? Why pretend to get shot?

Doesnt that make Chuck more suspicious?
"How did volkovs men know about the pub AND the bank!?!"

And then what if Chuck had never seen the triangle computer.....then what?

And why did mom insist multiple times that Chuck keep their relationship secret if Volkov knew?

For the first three points, mostly because that would've made for a fucking boring episode devoid of any originality.

It's totally in-character for Chuck to sympathize with Tuttle when he gets shot to save him. Suspicious, why? He thought the man was dying...

What if Chuck had never seen the computer? There would have been no episode. What if Bryce didn't send Chuck the Intersect? What if Papa Bartowski had never created it in the first place? It's TV, of course things are arranged so that the plot advances somehow.

Volkoff still didn't know about Chuck. Notice how Mary stopped Chuck at the end when he was about to ask "You told him about dad?" by saying "About my husband? Of course". Volkoff knows she was married, but not that she has a son and/or a daughter.

But then how would that explain Chucks knowledge of the base....?

A couple news items for the day:
- A sneak peek at Monday's episode *spoilers*
- Upcoming appearances for Zachary Levi presumably in support of Tangled. Hopefully he can squeeze in a few Chuck plugs, as well.
Upcoming appearances for Zachary Levi: Jimmy Fallon (11/18) Today Show (11/19) Conan (11/22) and Lopez Tonight (11/29)

Oh, and Strahovski has been doing a bunch of magazine shoots recently, so here's one for those of you that like women in glasses:

I'm going to be out of town for a few days, but I should be back in time for the new episode on Monday night.

The blu-rays aren't that much better...the transfers are fairly average looking by blu-ray standards

That's true, the season 2 blu-ray was bleh, but I'd still grab it over the DVD if it's only like a $5 difference or something.
