That's true, the season 2 blu-ray was bleh, but I'd still grab it over the DVD if it's only like a $5 difference or something.

I didn't see the Blu in the ad. I know Best Buy has Lost season 6 on sale for very cheap on DVD and Blu, but cannot remember if Chuck is in there too.

I skipped the Blu of the first two seasons of Chuck just because of the poor transfer quality. With the DVDs I got them pretty cheap, and I can also rip them to an HDD to use on my 360 and iPad.

Last night (at the expense of much pain this morning), I couldn't turn off Serenity playing on USA. I simply had to at least stay up for the bar fight!! In all actuality I ended up staying awake until they were heading to Miranda in the guise of Reavers.

Earlier today, out of nowhere, there's a Terminator: tSCC thread. Since I was at work, the odds of me seeing it was low since I only occasionally hit up the front page. Yet there it was, and I was compelled to post in it.

Now I turn on Chuck and she's on the show? :lol

Anger definitely suits her very well.

We're in agreement; on its own, this episode good but not extraordinary, but it does up the ante quite a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the first time Chuck is in any serious danger at the end of an episode. The show doesn't usually use that kind of cliffhanger with main characters.

Same thing happened here, except I knew I couldn't stay up so I set the DVR. Watched it this afternoon, then saw on the info box for tonight's episode that she'd be Greta. So I had about 3 hours straight of Summer Glau goodness.

The promo was nicely timed, and I think she got more lines than all the other Greta's combined. I've heard nothing about this "Cape" show until that ad, and it seemed odd that they only named her when she seems to not be the title character. Guess they were going straight for the 18-35 male demographic.

Riggle's character was great. Definitely had potential to be used again in some capacity, with an "experienced spy mentors Chuck" dynamic completely different from Sarah or Casey. But if you've got to go, there are worse places than the Swiss Alps.

What do you mean? She got axed because she was about to blow their cover and kill two of the Buy More employees.

Anyway, I thought the episode was really good. As Phonciple said, it was more on the drama side, than the humor side (although I thought Riggle brought plenty of comedy). I think that is ok since it balances out the beginning of the season which was more humor heavy.

- So, the scientist worked on Chuck for 31 days? This doesn't actually bug me, but I do enjoy nitpicking, so I feel I must point out that would put this episode after Thanksgiving which would be a bit weird based on the fact that there is going to be Thanksgiving episode in two weeks.

- I think Jeff had several good lines tonight, but I liked "My life would be a never ending Ceralis commercial if I had her." It had been a while since we had a good Sarah slow mo walk into the Buy More. Edit: The real best quote was, "Why does she transmogrify into a woodland creature? Why does she have a tail?"

- I really enjoyed Rob Riggle's cameo. I wish he didn't die since I would have liked to see him on the show again.

- I am liking the plotline where an enemy actually figured out that Chuck is the intersect. I doubt they will go this way, but it shouldn't be a surprise seeing how it seems the entire US intelligence community knows what he is. Compared to the first season where the NSA's top scientist wasn't even allowed to know the intersect's identity.

Looking forward to next week's episode. It has been a long time since there was an episode dedicated to Sarah kicking ass.

Good episode - Riggle was pretty funny :lol . Too bad he got capped in the end because the banter between him and Chuck was great. Overall, it was a little more campy than usual, but I don't mind them sprinkling these episodes in every once in a while. Glau looked great and Richard Chamberlain had the requisite amount of menace as a bad guy. Hope they give him more to work with next week.
