I just read a spoiler for Chuck that I hope to God isn't true.

Oh please don't be true. :(

It is probably true, just not in the way it first appears. He more or less says in the comments that he words some of the spoilers to rile up as many people as he can. Anyway, it is hard to confirm it against other sources since this year has been extremely bare on anything that could be construed as a spoiler, with the exception of casting calls which are usually minor anyway.

I just went over to Chuckgasmic for the first time since you mentioned it Cornballer. WTF is going on in that site? I can barely tell what is going on there.
It's a weird site. I haven't linked it here on the thread because: 1) Even though he does get some stuff early, I've never been completely sure that his information is good. 2) As much as he does for the show, he comes off as kind of a prick on Twitter sometimes. Also, as SG pointed out, a lot of what he posts on Twitter and his blog is specifically designed piss people off thus pick up page views.

Good to know. So what was the spoiler in question?

Sarah leaves Chuck for another man.
As I said earlier, I am sure it is true, but probably for an episode specific thing and not in the context he worded it. Either that or they are reaching for a whole new level of stupidity, although it would lead to some hilarious message board comments.

That was the one I thought it was referring to as well, as it was one of the few things on Chuckgasmic that was actually decipherable. It also reminds me why I almost never go to any fansites for anything.

This is what I feel as well. Especially since they just went out of their way to do that characterization with
Sarah where she flies across the world to save him and tell him that she loves him. There has just been no doubt right now with her in the feelings she has for Chuck and it would come completely out of left field if she left him (permanently).

Beyond that if I had to hazard a guess, I would say it ties into episode
4.14, "Chuck vs. The Seduction Impossible."
That is the episode currently filming before they take their holiday/winter break and seems to be what his other spoilers refer to.

The only way that plot can work is if
the man in question is already in the cast:Captain Awesome or zombie Bryce would be hilarious.

Still, in light of S3, what a fucking dumb idea.

This would just about kill any interest I had in this show.

I still don't think the spoiler will be what you first think by reading it. Hell, every interview Schwartz and Fedak have gave this season has said they have no intention of doing what is in the spoiler. As everyone else has implied, it would be so stupid it would ruin the entire show.

Exactly. As much backlash as they got in season 3 for the relationship stuff, they would NEVER do what the spoiler says. It is only for a mission or something.

Never say never when it involves Schwartz and Fedak :lol

The only way I could see them doing it is if the show is cancelled and they just go all out in an effort to piss off everyone who watches the show. Just do everything that people DONT want, just because they are getting cancelled and there are no consequences.

Have Casey wind up being the ultimate bad guy of the show, and Sarah is really Awesome's long lost sister and they run off for an incestuous relationship. Big Mike is really a serial killer and has been grooming Jeff and Lester to follow in his footsteps and it ends with them doing a ritual sacrifice of Morgan on the Nerd Herd desk, then feeding what is left of him to Chuck.

They would've lost their jobs a long time ago if they were stupid enough to think that's a good idea. No way in hell that spoiler plays out exactly like it says cuz that's some Shyamaladingdong type shit. :\

Fedak has always been better IMO. Schwartz is the one who loves to throw teen angst and fake relationship drama everywhere. (see: The OC, Gossip Girl)

Indeed. Made my day.

I think Gaga just wants to make her songs known, so they're cheap to license. Dollhouse season 2 could afford Gaga, and that had a lower budget than your typical reality show.

Ah, that makes sense, especially since it was only used it for a few seconds. Dollhouse was the only show I watched last year that had worse CG than Chuck :lol.

Part of me likes to entertain the idea that the writers left the show last year because of all the S3 bullshit. I can see Schwartz laying down the mandate, Fedak just going along with it, and the writers being frustrated at having to carry out an impossible task.

Just read the latest comments Magnus (guy who runs the spoiler site) posted regarding the spoiler. It's not
Sarah actually leaving Chuck for another man
. The wording is meant to be there for speculation and throw us off on what's actually going to happen.

Crisis diverted and with that, I'm done that shitty site. That Magnus dude is quite the douche bag, too. Throws around this "crazy shipper" dog shit to everyone who goes against his spoilers, whatever the fuck that even means.

What I do want to know more of is whether Vohlkoff will be a series regular. I absolutely LOVE his character arc.

Exactly. He may be around all season, maybe even longer (not likely), but a villain is never a series regular on Chuck. Hell, Beckman finally became a regular this season.

I meant that Dalton will never be a cast member on the show more than I meant someone else playing a Chuck villain. Dalton is way too high profile for that.

Eh, I am not sure. It depends on the money (which Chuck is lacking) and if they are actually enjoying themselves. Look at other big movie stars that are now relegated to TV status.

I don't know anything about how long Dalton's stint is going to be on Chuck, but my guess is that he signed on through the first 13 episodes of the initial order and I'd be surprised if we saw him after that. It's unfortunate because he's been fantastic so far.

- Really bizarre MadTV parody of Chuck

I rate this: not awesome

One thing I forgot to ask after the last episode which I meant to: did we ever find out Chuck and Ellie's ages before? If not, we did in this episode. Ellie is 32 and Chuck is 29.
