Yup, I used the same picture as a few posts above because I'm feeling lazy tonight.Chuck must deal with the aftermath of Bryce Larkin's departure as he goes undercover with Sarah to investigate a billionaire philanthropist. Meanwhile, Morgan meets Anna's parents.
There seemed to be a lil something on all the shows that were part of the TV Guide poll. I only glanced at it in the grocery store tonight. Almost bought it just for the Supernatural article, but figured I can find the article online.Cornballer said:I saw a scan of the TV Guide article late last week. I'll see if I can dig it up tomorrow. It wasn't anything new, but it's good to see the show getting a little press.
Fun to a certain degree. He got better in season 2, but adding him to the spy team just elevated the characters as a whole.Medalion said:I may be in the minority but I always thought Morgan was fun even in the first 2 seasons

Wads said:Ha, I'll tell you one thing... they did a really good job at getting people to hate him by the end. I think even though he was miscast a bit, by the end he was a pretty decent villain. I don't watch enough of the other tv shows like Fringe (shows that actually have Villains), but in the end Shaw ended up being a pretty decent baddie (although not very smart in the final 2 episodes).
Third Times A Charm: Chuck Repeat For January 3
NBC sure seems to want to share some Chuck reruns with us while were on hiatus, so despite canceling the repeats originally slated for December 20 and 27, theyve scheduled Chuck vs. the Fear of Death to air Monday, January 3 at 8/7c before a special where are they now episode of The Biggest Loser.
Can I get a tentative woohoo? New episodes of Chuck return January 17.
Or it could have the opposite effect. People are so annoyed at being told to tune in at 8pm on Mondays on NBC that they just wont do it. The side effect of too much love being shown something. Just look at what happened with lots of other shows, most recently Community.Domino Theory said:NBC needs to start paying me since I'm advetising Chuck for them. I post about it on my Twitter every Monday and I just came out of a TF2 server where I just kept writing "Chuck - Mondays at 8 on NBC" for 3 hours.
Reading the replies were hilarious and most people trolled me, but I did it so much that some ended up changing their usernames to "[insert offensive thing here] Mondays at 8 on NBC".
Oh well, at least I got the idea of tuning in to NBC at 8 on Monday in-grained into their heads.
I would like Community a lot more if it weren't for some people.PhoncipleBone said:Or it could have the opposite effect. Thus proving the example of too much fanatical devotion and hype can hurt something. But I know what you mean. Whedonites have hurt any chances of me actually really liking most of Joss Whedon's stuff. His writing doesnt help either, but I did find Dr. Horrible brilliant.czartim said:I would like Community a lot more if it weren't for some people.

That is how it should be, but people are easily swayed one way or another by too much hype. Certain people that you dont like dolling on and on about how wonderful something is unfortunately paints a bad picture in your mind of something, no matter how good it is. It is like hearing hype and hype and hype to only see it for yourself and be let down. I try to go into nearly everything with an open mind, but sometimes overly defensive and overzealous fans can sour my experience of something just by association.Otrebor Nightmarecoat said:If your liking of something is mandated by other people's preferences you have a problem. Be it liking what everyone likes, disliking what everyone likes or not liking something as much because of the fans/haters. Form your own damn opinion without taking fandom into consideration and only form hype around your own unbiased research.
Oh, no. You are fine. It was the season1 fanatacism that turned off many.Medalion said:Sorry guys, gotta pick up the slack for the dearly (or not so) departed
Yeah, it's the people who are on the island of misfit toys. The ones who won't allow one bad word to be spoken about it.Medalion said:Sorry guys, gotta pick up the slack for the dearly (or not so) departed
