Squad, leading to a mission in Rio. As The C.A.T. Squad works to settle a score with Augusto Gaez (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips), old secrets and grudges come to light. So you missed the HD-DVD players and fat iPod nano models that adorn the shelves every episode I see.firehawk12 said:Chuck is almost a parody of itself now. When the best part of an episode is Morgan, I think there are some problems.
I do like how they were using Madden 09 PSP bundles as random shelf props. I wonder what Sony would think about using 2 year old PSPs as product placement.
How about Nintendo? There was a GameCube on the counter during the dinner scenefirehawk12 said:Chuck is almost a parody of itself now. When the best part of an episode is Morgan, I think there are some problems.

- The traitor plot was obvious from the start. I can't say I wish they would have went a different direction with it, because Carina really wouldn't make any sense, and Zondra would only be less predictable in that it would be so simplistic that you wouldn't believe they actually did it. So honestly, I wish they would have just went with an entirely different main plot altogether.
- The opening scene was so cheesy, but in a good way. Reminds me a lot of the other Morgan dream opening. It also helps explain why they introduced Sarah as Sarah. After all, according to "vs. the Wookie" it is mentioned that she had a different name back when she worked with Carina (why I remember that, I don't know).
- I wish they would have used Lou Diamond Phillips character more. Although I guess he could be someone easily brought back like Steve Austin.
- Another information flash this episode. They are really making good use of that the last few episodes, which is good seeing how the first part of the season was nothing but kung-fu machine (which I guess existed in this episode as well).
- All of the Morgan scenes were great as normal. Whether with Carina or Alex.
- To Apoc29's point, I assume that party was filled with Ellie's friends?
Haha, I guess I haven't paid attention to the products until today.PhoncipleBone said:So you missed the HD-DVD players and fat iPod nano models that adorn the shelves every episode I see.

An old game system or old product in a home makes sense. Having old models of things or products that are not made anymore adorning the shelves of a retail store does stand out though.RevoDS said:How about Nintendo? There was a GameCube on the counter during the dinner scene
Oozer3993 said:Agreed on all points. On a related note to the bolded, it's interesting that Chuck still calls her Sarah even after her real name was revealed. She must identify more with the cover name than with her real name.
In a home? Absolutely. In the kitchen? Tougher to justify.PhoncipleBone said:An old game system or old product in a home makes sense. Having old models of things or products that are not made anymore adorning the shelves of a retail store does stand out though.
Screaming_Gremlin said:Whoops, forgot to post the music for tonight. From Sepinwall as usual.
"Turn It On" by Franz Ferdinand (the Cats take Sarah away and Chuck fights Amy and Gaez)
"The Parade" by Daniel Indart (Casey watching the club video feed)
"Eu Quero Agora" by Josephine Bauza (the Cats split up to search the club for Gaez)
"Pra Rua" by Rio Funk (Cats take out Gaez's guards)
"Rockers to Swallow" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Zondra and Sarah fight)
"Belongings" by Clock Opera (Sarah asks Zondra and Carina to be bridesmaids)
"Please Ask for Help" by Telekinesis! (end of episode)
Screaming_Gremlin said:I think the excuse Schwartz has given is that to Chuck she has always been Sarah, so there is no reason to start calling her something else. In reality, "Vs. the Fake Name" was a god awful episode and the less it is ever mentioned or referred to the better.
