This has probably already been answered numerous times but do we have any idea when the next season is going to air?

Fall (October?) on DTV, next summer on NBC.

You know, I would've really liked for them to keep
Santiago
around. I liked him a lot.
Me to. He was a cool dude, his scene in the lunch room with the rest of the guys solidified how comfortable he'd be with the rest of the cast.

The one before the rumble? Yeah, it does. There are a couple more like that, plus a couple in the deleted scenes (which again, are so awesome in this show).

Edit: Gonna go ahead and try to finish this season right now, and move on to my favorite season EVER, S3 :).

Plus it's deleted scenes.

It's a little disturbing that at this pace gdt will be finished with his rewatch of S3 well before I finish it for the first time. Hope I get the last netflix dvd soon.

Nah, I'm also watching Angel/episodes of LOST and playing tons of stuff at the same time! I just get lazy and don't wanna switch the disc out of the 360, and I end up watching the whole disc. I have watched a bunch recently, though.

Yeah, as Landry gets angrier and angrier you see the Panthers slowly stand up and get ready to throw down.

Its pretty damn awesome.

i feel so sad not watching this lol Entourage grabbed my attention for a while, watched all of S5 in one sitting while trying to sleep

what happened to Santiago again?

Awesome fight choreography too. That whole scene is a gem.

Same thing that happened to Waverly ;P.

Edit: Gogogogo S2.14! Probably my favorite of S2. And it has maybe the best scene of the show. Top 3 at least.

So has it been confirmed that the DVDs have the wrong music for Season 3, including the finale?

I only checked S3.01, and at least one song is off.

I'd assume many, many more are different.

Oh well.

I'm going to find out who's responsible, I'm going to follow them home, I'm going to wait until they're asleep, I'm going to find out what their favorite thing in the house is, and then when they wake up I'm going to break it right in front of them and I'm going to say "I bet when you fell asleep last night, you figured this would still be here when you woke up, right? That your favorite thing ever would be the same as when you left it, right?

"NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL YOU SON OF A BITCH."

Then I'll throw the pieces in his face and jump out through the window.

I tore through Season 1 on Netflix because of this thread, now four episodes in of S2, and I seriously can't stop. It's just basically great TV and with great characters in a town that keeps going. Just awesome.

T_T

Edit:

What happened to your face?

Sigh, I was defending your momma's honor.

With your face?
:lol :lol :lol

Finished S2. Onwards...TO VICTORY [perfection].

this thread makes me happy because i know that the series is here for at least another 2 years, and now all of these people are finally watching it and discovering how great it is. FNL is truly a miracle of a show.

Well, just watched ep's 5 to 10, and I tell you this season isn't really as bad as everyone says it is! I actually like that nurse Matt's going with. Please tell me that "that teacher" thing with Julie doesn't go any further, I do admit he really didn't do anything, but Tami really handled it the wrong way! Really liked episode 10 daaamn Coach was going to fuck the other coach a new one! Seriously love'em he's such a great actor! Glad the Landry story line is over with, but over all this season isn't as shitty as everyone was saying, unless something stupid has yet to happen!

What Costanza said.

Make sure to bring your tissues for episode 14.

T_T

Also another thing, what is with everyone acting like 17 year old high school students are "kids", like with Tim and Tami's sister, and her overreacting over her sister wanting to give him a T-shirt.

uhh because her sister was pretty clearly attracted to him. shes probably like 15-20 years older.

Well, he already banged that other hot older woman, it just gets on my nerves when people treat/call 17 year olds "kids". I know the legally not and an adult, but there all grown enough to know how to take care of themselves!

:lol no man...no. does Tim look like someone who can take care of himself? dude has to be pushed every step of the way. i dont think that many people knew about the mom he banged, PLUS this was the Mrs. Coach sister. its on another level of inappropriateness.

Wow what a crappy ending to a season! It wasn't bad at all though over all.

Well, it was cut at an inopportune time because of the writer's strike. Just when it was crawling out of the proverbial hole, too.

Is anyone starting S3 today? neoism? Costanza? Anybody?

I think I start it in a bit...

Edit: Erp, on second thought, I'll wait till my brother gets home. Which should be soon. I need my
Smash
arc action!

God, does anyone here know what Squab tastes like?

I didn't know what it was until Lyla said it in the car. Sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy gross.

Finished the first two episodes, 'bout to watch the corresponding deleted scenes.

Edit: How did you guys interpret this line from the Coach in the end of episode 1:

"Why are you helping me so much?

[a pause]

-Cause I need something good to happen."

Since nothing is really going wrong in his life/career (remember, he just
one the first game by a lot
at the moment, I interpret it in relation to (DONT READ UNLESS YOU'RE 5/6 EPISODES INTO S3)
Saracen. He knows the day is coming when he'll have to replace him for J.D.

Finished 3.03, really, really great stuff.

Both an awesome and sad episode for my boy.

Does anyone have a response to my last post?

Just finished up S3.
Really strong end to the season. JD's dad melting down and all of the fallout was awful, but you could see that building all season. I kinda figured they were going to lose the championship game, but it still hurt. The last episode five months later was fantastic. So East Dillon next season, eh? Should be interesting to see how it all plays out and I applaud them making a bold move to shake things up a bit.

Being all caught up is great, but it's a long wait until we get new episodes. Thanks to everyone on GAF that suggesting watching this over on the TV thread.

Yeah just got done with 305, it's really good so far! Glad Julie and Matt are hangin out again! I'm really surprised at Tim, and Lyla but I liked them together, I'm really glad they dropped that religion thing with Lyla(well so far). Damn good ending to Smashes story soo glad he got in. Really great character, I didn't like him at first, but that definitely changed. WTF is up with Street though, did he leave the show or something?
And gdt about your post the only thing I can think of what the Coach meant was he just wanted something good to happen to someone that deserved it, that wanted it! Smash did, he fought hard for it, and in the end cane out on top, and Coach pretty much made it happen!
Also wtf how is Tim a senior or was he always behind one grade, I thought in season 2 Lyla, and Tim were seniors with 7!

Damn.

Matt is laying down the law to his Mom.

Julie's faces were awesome in this scene.

sowereherboobies.

You listen to me.

You listen to me closer than you've ever listened to me before.

Remember that Rutledge game...

Right now. Right here God has placed you to do what you do best.

Go all the way.

The tears. My tears will not stop T_T.

yeah, great scene and all, but I really don't like how Matt's mom was driving distance and he just now goes to her! Still and great episode. I especially loved Smashes episode! I know it's probably to soon, but I still think I like the first season more!

he hates her, no reason to see her.

Matt's totally justified in how he treated his Mom. I'm going through something very similar; and I feel the same exact way he does.

oh yea. i interpreted it as
he needs something good to come out of his coaching. Jason was his number 1 guy that he was super proud of, and look what happened. Coach felt semi-responsible for that too. now comes Smash who is the best on the team, and he gets injured too. I think thats why he pushed so hard for Smash not to give up, so that he can take pride in his work.
