Amazing. Heading to Golden Age Collectibles to see if I can preorder this far in advance. The other BOOM title announced
Strange Fruit by Mark Waid and JG Jones.
Edit: Updated with solicitation
Artist Alley makes a con for me. I'm actually thinking of going to NYC comic con this year. It would be the best
Just found out that my store isn't getting any of the Spider-Gwen #1 variants.

You go to the same hellish store as me?
Bish, you read comics? How do you feel about Harley Quinn?

More importantly, how does he feel about the future Power Girl and Harley mini?
Poor Messi, always trying to recruit new people to the Cult of Quinn.
Try out Jonathan Hickman's Manhattan Projects. I recommend it.Just finished the first volume of East of West. It's my first time reading anything from Jonathan Hickman so I went in not knowing what to expect. Overall I'd say the world he has created is very intriguing, but as of right now none of the characters have really grabbed me. I see great potential in this book so I'll keep reading it, but I hope the main characters get a little more development because right now I don't really care that much about Death or his interchangeable Witch escorts.
dont bother with authority besides Ellis. Now Ellis's storm watch run is AMAZING. Authority is a nice ending to that runEllis' run is really the only one I like to be honest.
Other than Red Son and that little Flash run with Morrison, Millar doesn't do a whole lot for me.
I never bothered with any of the other Authority runs.

Are Change and Wild Children worth it if you like Zero then?
Try out Jonathan Hickman's Manhattan Projects. I recommend it.
I would also like to know the answer to this.
Do you love Amanda Conner as much as we do?
SLANDER , it is not a cult is is a club. The Girly Hijinks Club.

Migrant said:It's on my list to try out. From what I've read it sounds like something I'll enjoy. I have quite a few books to read before I start ordering anything else, though.
I'm pretty sure it's interchangeable here.
I looked and it's not i did see wildcats 3.0 was on there and 99cent each! Pleasant surprise.Oh man, it's been forever since I've read Stormwatch. I wonder if that's on CMX, hmm...
It's a damn shame how badly they botched Stormwatch for the New 52.
Manhattan Projects is godly, definitely give it a shot.
Fair warning, the Artists Alley at NYCC, even in its new locashe, is no longer safe from the innavigable hordes. It's just as bad on the floor there as it is outside the Konami booth. NYCC is now truly 100% worthless.
Ironically enough, it's also insanely expensive. Weird how that works.

Damn that sucks. NYCC has the most happening stuff tho. There are other comic cons in NYC besides NYCC no?
Ugh, 90s Venom is the worst.
(I didnt knew that he was a goverment agent back then, too)

Dude, NYCC is fine. I don't know what that's all about. I bet Ben tries to eat dinner at 5pm in Manhattan too lol.
Please take my word for it, Artist Alley was great on Thursday.
Lol Thursday!
I'm sure everything was great on Thursday, I won't deny that. Long gone are the days I could go to a con for the weekdays.
You could probably say that about 90s comics in general.
lol but Venom in particular

When I was younger and only knew the New Spider-Man Cartoon, I loved Venom and Symbiotes. Their Spider-Carnage Arc was fantastic. Then I began to read the comics and I began to notice that Venom began to be shitty at his second appearence.
Spidey Kicks Butt has a fantastic article on this: http://www.spideykicksbutt.com/DarkSideoftheSpider/DarkSideoftheSpider.html
The worst point on him was his inconsistent sense of "justice" and how grim dark awesome he was written.
And LOL at the Nocenti stuff.
Yeah but Heroes Con isnt in NYC. And I have a place to stay in NYC so no hotel cost for me.It wouldn't be much more expensive to book a flight and hotel for heroes con, dude. No joke.
Well. I'd still like to go even if its crowded. Since it would be a trip for me I'd definitely like to go on Thursday which has always been the best day as an attending fan anyway. But I guess we will see? If I sign up to do a comic con in Portland this fall I probably wont be able to go to NYC unless I make a profit from tabling at Rose City Comic Con.Dude, NYCC is fine. So what are some more good non-cape series? Already have 100 Bullets, Scalped, Crossed, and DMZ in my wishlist. That probably gives a good idea of the kind of stuff I like
Oooh, Parker as in Richard Stark's master thief Parker? Love the books, I didn't know there was a comic seriesQueen & Country
The Parker series
Blacksad

It is amazing. One of the best FF runs ever. I need to reread it one day. The wait for the series to finish was one of cruelest and longest waits ever. You Hawkeye fans have no idea.

Having read it the first time in omnibus format, I was a bit disappointing with the abrupt ending wherealt-reed and alt--sue just die by falling down a canyon.

Yeah, I'll second that...not terribly difficult to navigate the horde in the Artist Alley on Friday/Saturday either.
I imagine being an exhibitor on the right side of the main floor is the worst place to be..which kinda sucks since a lot of the original art dealers are stuck over there with the toy scalpers.
Curious to see how this Atlantic City one goes..they seem ambitious.
I was just talking about how I'd like to hit up Atlantic City before it becomes a ghost town. When is that happening? I go to Dirty Jerz every Summer.
Not justWithin the context of the story, I think that's the only way Elijah wins.any canyon though, it's where the Shiftship was buried for millennia, and they didn't know about it.
Has Hickman ever commented on what influenced his current Avengers story? The incursion stuff is very reminiscent of the first issue of Planetary and the Doc Brass/Secret Society flashback with the quantum computer.
