I had completely forgotten Mania was a thing that happened. She was cool back in Flash's pre-GOTG series.

She went sort of crazy in the conclusion of the last Venom series but Flash "fixed" her. Should be fine.
Whatever caused the symbiote to leave Flash happened off panel, but it's implied Flash abandoned it.

According to Carnage previews it looks like Jubilile (new character, Carnage tried to transform her with the darkhold but it didn't work out like he wanted and she escaped) has it. Brock gave it to her and is currently symbioteless(?)

Hold off on the most recent story. It moves too fast for the pace of publication, really sucking all the excitement out of it.
The finale is supposed to hit in late February now but who knows. It has been three months since the last issue.
Rucka seems like a writer who tops out at a couple of projects. Black Magick is on the way back, WW is twice a month and now Old Guard. I will be happy just to get the end of this arc.
Rucka isn't a hack he has a proven track record.
It's most likely Lark taking his time on art and partially Rucka having to write Wonder Woman twice monthly.

Not going to lie this joker arc is meh. Terry is rusty and has to do some sly shit to stand a chance. Kinda reminds me of the batman beyond joker movie but no Bruce
Plus side is the book only cost 3 dollars per month.
