The best part of Silver Age stories is that there is usually a pretty good chance you don't know what the resolution is going to be because it's so fucking random. I mean, sure, after awhile certain things are telegraphed (if it looks like someone went rogue they really didn't), but anything involving say, Superboy or Girl with their bullshit I can do super-anything powers, can hand wave away anything.
