I laughed way too hard about Daredevil's joke; taking away Tony, knocking him out and the drunk girl asking: "what are you doing?" Matt: "it's a team-up, we do these things". Final page was a big oh come on! moment, but still... Tony in dick mode is still enjoyable

Pretty much the only place. Dark Horse have their own app, but it's rank.

Humble Bundle do DRM-free bundles, there've been some good ones (Image, Valiant, Star Wars, lots of others) but the current one is *shudder* ponies.

My ribbing is entirely good-natured. People can like what they like at the end of the day. I like some pretty terrible things myself.

Plus, the bundle is for charity after all. I'm not gonna be one of those "URGH! THIS BUNDLE IS FUCKIN' SHIT BECAUSE IT'S NOT FULL OF FULL PRICED BRO GAMES!" that plague HB's social media.

Half of me wants that Pony Bunduru, and half of me remembers that my options for reading comics digitally aren't great.

Either way, I just ordered one of the MLP trades from IST anyway.

I will forever drown in my physical collection. I just can't give it up, digital just doesn't feel the same at all to me. Though if I picked up weekly comics and wasn't a filthy trade-waiter maybe I could see it, but that's not the case.

Nope, this is the end. At the very least, it was a complete story that wrapped up everything. Kinda funny how so many manga readers claim Western (mainly superhero comics) never end when this is a series that told a complete beginning, middle, and end in 15 issues (plus two filler issues). This is gonna be one to recommend anyone interested in getting into Marvel stuff, that's for sure. I'm happy with how it turned out.

But Spencer did say that Ant-Man (which he's writing) is going to be similar in tone to Foes. Lieber is working on a Valiant book right now and the two of them are going to be doing that Image book if/when it ever comes out.

yeah this was a near-perfect series. unbelievable how good it is. If Sony doesn't make a movie out of this, Sony is fucking up.

According to the backmatter of Transformers vs GI Joe #4 Doctor Venom is reading from the DECEPTICONECRONOMICON on page 5.

also they use "Steranko" as a verb at one point

also the GRIMLOCKRYPHA

I'm sorry, but this is quite possibly the greatest comic ever created

At this point, who knows. Lieber said online that the creative team hadn't heard anything beyond standard TPBs. Maybe down the line they'll do a Complete Collection, OHC, Omnibus, etc. but for now, it looks like it's just gonna be the three TPBs. Maybe if they sell well Marvel will consider doing something else? I don't know.

I'm really hoping they just do a big hardcover collection for the series. It deserves one. The last issue was a wonderful sendoff.

This sounds insanely awesome. If I've never seen a single episode of GI Joe or consumed any GI Joe related media ever, will I still enjoy it?

But the no travel, waiting on the discounts, easy to find, can't get damaged, and no ads!

I flipped through a floppy for the first time in years and was surprised to see ads again. I was like "oh yea, I remember those"

In other news, another vacation break leads to another impulse buy. This time...a new video card is now ordered on newegg!
