Actually yeah... What's going on with that.
Maaaaan. My friend hit me with the choice to go see Interstellar with him or not in imax. I'll admit I'm out of the loop on these things, but I actually hadn't heard of it before he mentioned it (though I do know Nolan of course). But man, I don't know if I want to drop that kind of money on a movie I have no hype for and know nothing about that's also getting middling/mixed reviews. Requests to go see Big Hero 6 instead have been vetoed because my friend was invited to this by his friend, also knocking out the ability to not see the showing at the same time that isn't in super expensive imax. I don't know what to do here, bleh.

And Odin seems to be currently not.

Oh yeah, I also finished off the back half of the first Hellboy Library Edition last night. It was still a ton of fun, and I'm starting to see that Hellboy definitely goes for a big time mishmash of mythology and monsters, which is neat. This story definitely felt a tad more disjointed than the first one, but there's still plenty of great moments and I'm sure part of that is just story hooks that haven't come into play fully yet and whatnot (definitely some loose ends on this one). Though I will say that
I found the whole "whoops, blinded this guy and he stumbled into our blow-up-the-base button" moment downright strange, and I definitely hope it didn't just abruptly kill off all those characters out of nowhere.
Definitely in for Harley and Ivy of course...not feeling that Joker. Way too similar to the Arkham Origins version for me.

I've always thought the whole "throwing Mjolnir" to fly thing was weird. I mean, doesn't that break Newton's Third Law? Also how would you change direction once its in flight? You never see them rethrow the hammer over and over for course corrections.

This talk about Interstellar has me sort of wanting to go see it in theaters. I hadn't heard of it til my friend showed me the trailer a few weeks back and I sort of forgot about it since then until now, but I'm a big fan of McConaughey ever since True Detective, so it seems like it'd be a good time.
I dunno though. I haven't seen a movie in theaters since The Tourist with Johnny Depp. And that was because I was dragged along with some friends and someone paid for my ticket. Haha. And before that, the last movie I'd seen in theaters was Avatar in 3D. I think it cost like $17.
