Just chiming in as someone who's not intimately familiar with every development in the comics world to say that while the dc and marvel digital apps are a good service the interface could need some significant overhaul. Browsing issues is such a hassle unless you know exactly when to check for new stuff or what issue number you're after. I saw someone talk about a new team on Supergirl earlier and had to go back and forth between various sources before finding what particular issue that started with. Some more instantly visible information about particulars of issues and perhaps more importantly a better search function you can sort in various ways would be most welcome. Clicking on a big folder for a series that's been going for years to look through it is not great.

In any case let's try out this new Supergirl.

Yeah the creative team for it is amazing. Zdarsky is such a perfect fit for Howard and Quinones does some great art.

It was good until Dini's attention drifted. The underlying ongoing story got all messed up and the fill-ins were a bit iffy.

I'm surprised that DC hasn't announced a new ongoing considering she's a) a great character that isn't just another superhero, and b) they've been having success with female-led books. I can easily see a Zatanna book filling a different niche in the lineup.

I've kinda been idly wondering if maybe Dini could reappear for some quick pinch hitting during the Convergence event. Do a simple two issue with his favorite characters and not have to worry about continuity.
