I have a question about Y the last man book 3.
after the arc with the Israelis ends and yorick and Co are moving on. Their are two issues about an acting troop post plague. They find ampersand and eventually yorick gets him back. How did ampersand get lost? Or will it be explained later? Yorick had him when they were leaving the hot box.

Rozum was the original writer of another Milestone book, Xombi. But close.
The characters aren't great IMO, especially those that do survive. There's some mild interest on my part in seeing how bad things can get for Rick but that's about it. There's no real attachment to any of them. I haven't read the series in ages (left it about 10 or so issues after the prison arc was finished) and haven't really felt any compulsion to pick it back up again. Also I'm sick of zombies, they're the worst.
I vastly prefer Invincible out of the stuff that Kirkman is working on.

Yeah, they did kill of a couple of the best characters. That was a bummer. But I still care about Carl. And I think Andrea is a great character. I care about Michonne even though Kirkman has no idea how to write her, which is infuriating at times. I hate Rick. I really hope he dies in the end.
And I like zombies. Most modern zombie entertainment is abhorrent but that's not the zombies' fault.

I do have some loose issues that I'm thinking about getting rid of and replace with trades, so that'd be nice.

Yeah, maybe we could post what we are looking to sell/trade and what kind of titles we are looking to pick up. And I would suggest approaching each other via personal message to let each other know we are interested in goods, but pm doesn't seem to work for me anymore.

I wouldn't mind something like this. I've been ebaying a lot of old trades the last month or so, and while I shifted 75% of them mega fast, like faster than I could ge tto the post office, and last 30 odd are just sitting and sitting, and really no-one seems to even be viewing them. If I could at least get eyes on them for the kind of people who might genuinely be interested, it'd be a start.
It just bothered me that it seemed like I missed something

Does google docs allow multiple people to access a file and add and edit it? If so we could set up one of those and put down what were willing to part with and what we're looking for.

I was looking at the bookshelf and looking at the books my wife brought to the relationship from before we met. I was searching for any recognizable names and came across "a complete lowlife" by Ed Brubaker. Anybody have any experience with the book? Worth a read?

Given everyone is talking about this and showing interest, I'll link this, but if anyone takes object, please say and I'll remove. The reason I never mentioned it much before was because I didn't want to come across as advertising my wares, but like I said, people are discussing. Click. Live in the UK, so really only good for UK peeps I guess. I already sold like 80 books or something but who knows, peeps might find something niteresting from whats left. Relisted some stuff today with auction prices as well, jsut want them shifted for all these image books coming next year. (Ignore the one dvd ha)

Kind of feel like an age verification page-block should have come up there. But yeah, this is supposedly what the opening story arc has been building to, and the first trade collects up to this issue so it would seem to reinforce that. Simon is in the belly of the beast, and meets the woman he lusted after for years as his alter-ego. I wonder what's going to happen..?

I picked up a floppy containing these first 12 pages at Holloween ComicFest and I'm intrigued. The art is a little rough but I am on board for any indie Spurrier. I'm just in love with this man's brain. Not sure if I will read weekly because I know I will want to buy the collections that are going to drop every 6 months. Either way, I am looking forward to following this.

I always loved the Batman/Scooby Doo crossovers on the TV show as a kid; This is going to be a great all ages title, I imagine.

Edit: it is a manufacturer's refurbished model though.
Anyone stick with America's Got Powers? Final issue released this month so i read the rest of the series, it was okay. Character motivations like Senator..Palin....were a bit too direct.

I admit to loving a good chunk of the New 52. It got me back into comics in a big way when I was mostly a dabbler before hand. But I swear to God, I don't even know how the fuck you salvage Teen Titans at this point. It's almost Stormwatch levels of bad.
I actually was OK with it in the beginning. The fact that it crossed over with Legion Lost, in the Harvest storyline, certainly helped. But I actually liked some of the new characters they brought in, like Bunker and Skitter. Seemed like a decent place to try out new characters and see how they do.
But the team has dwindled to the point that I don't even know what you do with it at this point. Legion Lost swept under the rug. Bunker, gone. Skitter gone. A prominent member slated to be killed off in a few months. You're going to be left with like, four members for the team.
Just fucking kill everyone on the team and start over with a new one, please.
On a brighter note, Superman/Wonder Woman was really good.
