Pamela Piscitello, the Director of Marketing and Operations for Firewalk Studios and its Concord game has officially joined Halo Studios as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. Piscitello posted to LinkedIn last month, "I'm happy to share that I'm starting a new position as Senior Product Marketing Manager working on Halo at Xbox. First order of business…more cat helmets."

I thought anyone from concord was considered too toxic to touch... unless you're intentionally trying to kill all of Xbox. I do believe that, I see all the dummies being sent to work at xbox. Plus all of Azure got new offices, and xbox people got sent to the shithole. All this on top of the Ghostbusters actress being the Chief of Staff over there. Really seems like Microsoft is poisoning the entirety of Xbox and justifying its kill off. Oh well, sucks to be an xbox fan

Mod Edit: The misleading title has been fixed.

I mean it's a marketing position so nothing to do with the actual making of the game.
Concord marketing was so bad they only managed to sell 100 copies, but then again they managed to persuade 100 people to buy Concord.

Halo to me is like that ex that there's no shot in hell that i'd ever get back with, but cleans herself up once in awhile and gets me thinking, before she gets hooked back on the meth

Is anyone surprised? Halo Studios (formerly 343i) aren't exactly known for good management and getting in right people. Microsoft is also very pro dei/woke hires, so this fits the bill.

Exciting ! Now master chief helmet will come off to reveal he's the black chick from concord in a suit this whole time.

"First things first, in this game Master Chief will remove his/her helmet to reveal there monstrous face, also add soms chunk and have a sex scene were Master Chief gets bummed".

"Concord failed because literally all it's developers were untalented" is such a boring, unsophisticated view of how things work. Very childlike.
you're right senpai.

That an entire studio, publisher, and marketing team made a game rejected by the entire market requires an unprecedented level of talent.

Yep, the title is misleading.

I mean, it´s no good hiring anybody who had anything to do with that trainwreck. But a marketing position is not as bad as hiring a creative director

You get a few ingredients off when baking and your cake can turn into a puddle of sugar. Games are seemingly far more complex than you realize.

Halo, at least the Holy Trilogy, is amongst my most favourite series of games. Since 343i began their tenure, with every release, I always think to myself: "well, we've finally arrived at the bottom - there's no way the next game can be any worse than this". And I take some kind of comfort in that, strange as it may be. And yet, every time a new game is in the works, they seem to invent new, previously unfathomable digging techniques, and continue ever downward. With Infinite, I was impressed - blowing half a billion dollars on an empty campaign and the worst live service game ever released is no easy feat. It cost them their company and what was left of their reputation. Standing amongst the ashes of the franchise, I really did think: "we've finally arrived at the bottom - there's no way the next game can be any worse than this". Once again, I was wrong - they've hired people with new, terrifying digging techniques, and they're ready to get to work. Time to buckle up - looks like we're going down.
