Yeah, between 20 years of library building up and more new games being released each month than on any console platform I don't really see how anyone can argue against it.It's impossible to argue against. The amount and variety of content on PC is staggering. Especially when take advantage of the inate backwards compatibility of the platform. I only beat Planescape: Torment this year (and loved it). That's an old fucking game, Especially by console standards.
I am definitely not misusing it here, you are acting entitled, Sony allow full creativity for their first party to make games and if you feel they are mediocre then fine, TLOU, God of War, GT, LBP, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Infamous, Sly cooper, MLB,, Motorstorm, Resistance, Killzone, most of these million or multi million dollar franchises and are popular
Yeah none of them get acclaim (Last of Us, GOTY over 200 awards) or sales, that is why they are continously being made, face palm, You basically spouted a load of crap without thinking
Sony's IPs are diverse (indies, PC games, AAA, creative AAA, story driven games, JRPGS), they give a lot of variety and mass appeal, you cant give everyone what they want cause not every one likes the same thing but you can get to a good amount of people which Sony ips currently cater to, your idea of an RPG isnt going to be for everyone who buys a PS4, that is why you are entitled, unbelieveably entitled in fact
Both Blood Borne and the witcher have action combat and RPG elements, that is all i need to know
As I said before, STICK TO YOUR PC, the less of you we have in the PS community, the better
As many and with as much variety as this year?
Never.
I'll make a thread about this during the holidays.
Before port of indie game: Who cares about those games? They are just crap indie PC games.
After port of indie game: -insert indie game list wars between ps4 and xbox users-
That's also the explanation I consider most likely. It's simple and doesn't require any mental gymnastics or ascribing feelings of goodwill or benevolence to corporations. On a practical level, what I suspect is happening is this: the cost of gaining exclusivity continues to rise as development costs do. As a consequence, platform holders are settling for a narrow concept of exclusivity because it's cheaper.
In other words, paying Capcom to put their game exclusively on Playstation 4 is likely significantly more expensive than paying Capcom just to avoid the Xbox. That's likely where we're at now: Sony and Microsoft are paying companies just to avoid putting versions of their games on each other's platforms, and then spinning that as a "console exclusive." My guess is that these games could go to iOS if and when the platform can support it without having to remake the game altogether. Maybe the Wii U is also explicitly excluded, but its install base and market may require no further encouragement to avoid.
But then again its hard to find a game not being released on console anymore.
This is nice and all but where the fuck is Peggle 2 for PC?I realize it's not a 'console exclusive' but still.
Great. There is no other valid feeling for me about this one as I prefer playing on my PC. The only reason for me buying a console was and still is its exclusive titles. I've sold my Xbox 360 since most games I'm interested in got on PS3 and/or PC. There is not even a handfull of games on Xbox 360 only (and REALY only) that I'm interested in. And if the rest of the games would make on in PC I could sell my PS3/4, too.Is there more and how do you feel about it?
This has caused absolute madness in the List Wars Community, no one knows what can go on what list legally now.

Doesn't change anything for me, I'll never game on a Windows OS.
Only ones that are on those platforms and not on PC? And what about Android? Can anyone think of any examples, thus far, of games which are on Playstation and iOS but not Xbox, or on Xbox/iOS and not Playstation?

Yeah, I said the same thing several times in the past.I feel great.
Let's continue spreading the idea that PC is not competing with consoles if this is the result.
Yeah, I said the same thing several times in the past.
It's a great solution. Console supporters can keep their bragging rights about excluding the competing brand, while we'll get more games just because "PC is not a real competitor, not even a real gaming platform". Or something.
I can't think of any examples, but I believe most games such deals potentially apply to aren't suitable for (or designed to be possible on, either in terms of hardware requirements or controls) mobile in the first place.Sorry for the confusion: yes, they can be on anything else as well. So games on PC/iOS/Xbox, count, or Android/iOS/Playstation. I'm trying to determine if there are any games which may have exclusivity paid for but which allow the developers to put their games on mobile platforms.
Or, even more directly: I'm trying to determine if these exclusivity deals are truly as simple as "You can put your game on any platform except Xbox," or "You can put your game on any platform save Playstation."
If these deals exist at all, of course; I could be wrong.

Wasn't FF14 going to be on PC for sure anyway? Like FFXI.
