He's Roman in the Fast and Furious movies.

I like him okay. If he can tone down the silliness, I think he could make a solid John Stewart.

I watched the first one on mute when it came out on DVD to see the cars and that's the extent of my Fast and Furious knowledge

Spill the beanz

For some reason I keep hearing it brought up lately, couldn't find a source that was new. I think it's just a bunch of misinformed people that heard the rumor about splitting the movie in two a while back. I just like to get the hype train revved up because these leaks do happen a lot right before big events like E3 and some of them are surprisingly true.

Is it even logistically possible for them to shift it forward even 5 months? I don't know how far in advance ad space is bought.

We're days away from July

OCtober would only give them 4 months of promotion and assume would knock most of their business partners back a ton

I think too much riding on this movie for them to dick around with it this late in the game.

Yeah I doubt it too but if they could pull it off successfully so muchhhhhhhhh hype. There really is a wasteland of movies between now and star wars. Fantastic 4 looks like it has potential, I'm meh on antman.

Cannot see the split in two rumor coming into effect, just because there is no way they'd market it properly. And before anyone says BvS doesn't need marketing, you are ruling out action figures, clothing, cross promotional deals (like Carls Jr and whatnot for MOS), etc etc. I can't see it happening, and if it does, and marketing doesn't suffer, then this was the best kept secret in Hollywood's history.

The speculation I keep hearing from people just say October, no split. I put as much stock into it as people put into e3 master lists.

No way. That's impossible, no way no way no way.

Think about it, the promotion fair in the last days already sold the merchandise rights emphatizing 2016, imagine them telling the partners they have to make the merchandise 5 months earlier, and the promotion starts right now, just no way. Also, that would empty their march slot, unless they're putting SS before too.

Seems like The Rock will star in Rampage for New Line which they are looking to put into production next year, which makes the chances of Shazam being earlier than 2018 really slim

I have a feeling that we might see Black Adam (as Dwayne himself has teased) in the DCU before Shazam.

It's possible that he could be introduced in some capacity in a Justice League film like the rumoured appearance of the Green Lanterns.

However..., if they WB are, again as rumoured, going to announce 'The Batman' at SDCC then they could also announce a stand alone Man Of Steel sequel..., which would see Superman face off against Black Adam?

Pure speculation on my part but isn't that part of the fun?

For some reason I keep hearing it brought up lately, couldn't find a source that was new. I think it's just a bunch of misinformed people that heard the rumor about splitting the movie in two a while back.

That rumour was nonsense from day one. When the dates for the supposed 'split' film were leaked the date in October was Halloween. Halloween is traditionally one of the quietest film going weekends of the year for obvious reasons.

With each rumor, I'm more and more certain we'll see a either concept art or a photo of the full League in costume at Comic Con.

Of all the Justice League members I cannot wait to see Snyder's version of Cyborg.

Uh, we already got that.

There was this old article i came across a longg time ago.

https://obnoxiousandanonymous.wordp...-alexanders-chances-of-becoming-wonder-woman/

There was a chance Lady Sif would of maybe been Wonder Woman if John Campea (the movie blogger) would of been quiet about it.

So this means one of two things. Either Jaimie Alexander trusted John Campea, an entertainment host / blogger, with some confidential knowledge, and expected him to act like a professional and not hint that he knows details about her possible casting, plot details, etc. Or she wanted him to share this “tidbit” to his viewers and hope that a ground swelling of fan support would cause Warner Bros. to cast her.

Well, by John coming out and joyfully bragging to everyone publicly about what she may have told him, it more than likely cost her the job.

Not sure if it true or not but it is interesting to read.

Yea John definitely shit the bed on that one. He can't be trusted with secrets. He's like a child and has to tell everyone he knows something to keep the attention on him. Used to like the guy but I can't stand him now.

I remember those episodes when he was making comments about Jamie Alexander. Unknown if she really was up for the part but he was acting like she was and that he had insider knowledge. He couldn't hide the grins he had at the time when he talked about it. I remember at the time thinking if he knew something why was he running his mouth and possibly ruining her chance. If she told you something off the record because the two of you are friends why are you even hinting at it. If it was even a possibility I don't doubt it plays into the insult he was directing toward Gal Gadot once it was announced she had the part. He went in on her in a way he's never talked about another actor on that show. Bringing her up in conversations that had nothing to do with Warner Bros or Batman v Superman.

I wish SDCC would lift their ban on streaming pressers

I completely understand, and would be pissed, if they want to black out the exclusive footage and stuff.

But like the talking and intro parts... see no reason why they couldn't stream that

Will have to watch some shaky cam footage later.

People need to bring their A game in regard to this. As soon as things go up webm files need to be created and then downloaded by others to be put back up later. Gifs need to be made of everything. Screenshots if everything as well.

I wonder just how much of their panel will be for the DCU despite what Eisenberg said given the panel is shorter this year than last and given the obvious of BvS and Suicide Squad being present, I also expect WB to possibly dedicate time to other releases.

Possibly The Man From U.N.C.L.E and if Guy Ritchie is there for that then it could shift to something for his King Arthur. Not to mention the possibilities of Pan or Creed having time?

I expect they'll show a trailer for Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. But is it pretty sure we'll get announcements of The Batman and Man of Steel 2? Or is there still only that one rumor?

And what about the chances of seeing Ezra costumed as The Flash and something about Justice League Dark?

Ah, so it's SDCC that's responsible for the ban?

They don't need to lift the ban, just record each panel and release a few hours after the panel.

Yeah it would be great if we could get a livestream but I feel like that would turn comic con into an even more not-really-comics-con which a lot of people grumble about already.

The only way I'll be really disappointed in SDCC is if we don't get a public BvS trailer, a public Squad teaser, and I'll be extremely disappointed if Shazam doesn't get a comic ongoing this October. At a bare minimum I think we'll get a BvS trailer, a private suicide squad test footage, flash in costume, and a GL casting. I was hyping it up in the past but I think I'll tone it down since the panel says WB movies and not just DC movies :/.

Yeah based on Mad Max Fury Road from last year

I think we'll get a BvS trailer later that day will be shorter than SDCC but drop around the same time.

We won't get Suicide Squad footage other than a leak... I think 13 months is a long arse time.

But we shall see.

I thought I read next year some of the panels and con was going to be live streamed, something to do with some deal with Lionsgate?

The only thing though is how often has WB released footage from Comic Con before? Not very much and it's usually because SDCC is the first time they debut said footage before a teaser or trailer is released to the public. Like the Man of Steel SDCC footage wasn't released, though leaked, but a teaser debuted within the month and WB didn't release the BvS clip but that was likely due to because it was made just for the con.

Mad Max was a recent, and awesome surprise, but that may be because of how overwhelming positive the reaction was that WB felt the need to capitalize on the early buzz.

BvS this year is in a weird spot because its pretty much its 3rd time around, including the announcement lol, at SDCC and a teaser has debuted to the public.

lol I guess I rambled on to say that in the past WB hasn't been too forthcoming on footage shown at SDCC but with last year's indication and BvS...we'll hopefully see something released officially online that weekend for us plebs! lol

Either way.

It's a silly little hang-up.

I like that NYCC is becoming a bit looser with that

Though mostly only panels in the main rooms.

It's not a silly hang up, the panels are big draws for people and simulcasting the panel will eliminate all of the Comicon goers who are there just for the panels.
