It's not stuttering it's part of the game design.so other than the micro stutters this is worth getting on PS4?

Damn, i would like to have the dodge rolls on the L3 button instead of the "old double stick tap in a direction" in the first DR.
Frank is doing dodge rolls every 30 sec. Irritating.
Maybe my DS4 is not working well ? Anyone else here have the same "problem" ?
I am wondering the same, it is not listed on their site but all other major retailers like walmart, target and amazon have it.
Does anyone know if they do have it in stores and it's just not listed on the site for some reason?
Played DR1 for around 2 hours last night on PS4 and, despite only playing the original for around the same amount of time, I remembered it all so vividly.
I had a great time popping novelty heads on zombies and using a bowling ball and the undead as my pins.
I then wandered outside and remembered why I stopped playing it the first time... those fucking convicts!!! I was dead within 20 seconds. I never beat them the first time I played either.
Can't wait to get back into in tonight though. It's scratching an itch I never knew I had.
No, extra save slots didn't exist when the game originally came out and for months / years to come, since Microsoft took their sweet time including small internal flash drives for newer console iterations and implementing USB stick support across the board. Unless you bought a memory card beforehand, all you had was one save slot on your default HDD for a considerable period of time.Seen a few people mention save slots like they didn't exist in the original - pretty sure I used multiple save slots to get all the different ending back in the day.
The Digital Foundry video literally describes hit stop when they're somehow confused about whether it's frame stuttering, which as a matter of fact was really apparent in the Xbox 360 version as well.No it's not. Watch the digital foundry video on the PS4 version to see it is not part of the game.
Some story cases during the same chapter have a continuous timer, even if there are boss fights tied to campaign progression.Bit confused about the timer. While going to case 2-2, it went from red to empty. Got there, did the boss fight as normal, now case 2-3 has started and the timer is still empty. Does the timer for cases work differently to the survivor and psychopath ones?
You can just run away. You don't have to fight them.
No need for VPN, https://steamdb.info/sub/88075/info/How can I buy the game in Germany?`:-( No keys on third party sited and I don't have a VPN
And once you beatyou never even need to go back into the parkAdam
Is there some way for me to buy this digitally on Xbox One from germany? I can just import DR 1 and 2 but Off The Record is digital only and it's the only one I haven't played so far :/ As far as I know I'd need a US cedit card to buy from the US store?

Yes, faithful port of the original at a higher resolution and fps with a fair price.so other than the micro stutters this is worth getting on PS4?
Yeah I kinda guessed so. I will return once I level up a bit to extract some Willamette justice on their asses.
Plus I believe there's a trophy tied to defeating them and stealing their truck.
It'll tell you when you failed it, but often there's still a magic pixel worth of time left before the on-screen prompt triggers.Oh, so it doesn't just tell you right there that you've failed the story like in DR2?

I'm floored by how good the PC Port is. I'm running everything on max with a 980gtx with no frame drops, aside from the hit pauses with blunt weapons. I wish I could turn that off though.
If i never played a dead rising game which one should i buy and play?
I only want to buy one of the games (mainly because so many games are coming out and time and moneywise i have to compromise).
No worries, you're welcome.Thank you. 2 is not remastered or am I wrong? Because there is a GfWL version from 2010. Only 1 is tthe remastered version on Steam (which was not available on PC before)

First game hands down, if you like the challenge. DR2 brought some welcome QoL tweaks to the standard gameplay, but the original is the most cohesive experience of the series without being bogged down by combo weapons. If i never played a dead rising game which one should i buy and play?

... Yes it does.I understand your situation entirely. Personally, I'd go with Dead Rising 2. Far better gameplay. More refined, and doesn't use the silly time system. Frank West is a far better protagonist though.

You can beat them easily the first time you see them. Get the sword and uzi from the main Plaza after the safehouse, make the idiots crash into a tree. Use the uzi on the gunner to murder immediately, then run over and swing the sword on the driver and then the passenger will jump over so don't stop swinging. Its funny how I used to fear them but now they get dropped in 15 seconds max.Yeah I kinda guessed so. I will return once I level up a bit to extract some Willamette justice on their asses.

Having just completed Dead Rising for the first time, I honestly have no idea why people like Frank West so much.
Anyone say how performance is on XB1?
