Finished it today, at level 19. Did most of it solo.
I don't think I'll ever play those campaign levels again, and the Strikes don't really interest me. Other than some Crucible, I think I'm pretty much done with it until expansions come.

You can't go wrong.... Warlocks born to be Sunsingers.
You need reach lvl 26 first and make a party of 6 guys.
It is a mystery because its short of even low budget ios games, gameloft games have more cut scenes and story then Destiny,
For a game of this pedigree they should have seen it coming aaaageeees ago and fixed it.
I love the gunplay but the game has big flaws, things that are very basic mistakes it seems.

So much shit you get out of this loop
The Nexus loop caters to crypt/legendary/materials
The Loop does all that + you power level the shit out of your Marks for your factions
Tuesday 4AM is reset, get both to 100 or before it kicks in

Thorn Legendary bounty/questline was absolutely fucking epic. Everything that is good about Destiny in one bounty chain.
The fact that they can do unique Strikes/missions on demand bodes very well for future content updates. Simply reusing existing assets and shaking up the content with modified enemy spawns and difficulty settings can easily provide a ton of really fun content.
If you haven't done an Epic difficulty pve mission yet, you haven't seen how nasty Destiny can get.

Things like no in-game story There is in-game story. Just not as much of it as in the lore. This was a design decision. I expect the story to evolve and become more apparent over the life and events in the game.
no voice chat There is voice chat. Just not the way you want it implemented. It would be nice for matchmaking chat, but Bungie was probably scared of the CoD kiddies trolling people. I'm sure Bungie is evaluating the decision and can change things if they deem necessary,
no matchmaking There is matchmaking. Just not on the harder content that would be a nightmare with pick-up groups with no voice comms. These tasks need voice coms and coordination. Time for you to be social in a social game and make some friends.

all the meaningless jargon constantly coming from your ghost... would you prefer him to be silent? If I had a random flying robot companion with me 24 hours a day, I would hope he would say meaningless stuff every now and again to make small talk. Not everything has to be of utmost importance to the current situation.

Saw this on the OT2 and was curious as to how you do this/what a "map card" is. This poster was replying to someone complaining to how long it takes to harvest lots of Spinmetal.
Solar for red shields, void for purple and arc for blue.
Public events seem to be where you get them.

So, every day there's a new PvP playlist listed on the left side of the planet selection screen. Anyone know why? Is there an XP bonus for playing the featured list or something?
Yeaap, bonus exp for the listed PvP mode.
A few people have mentioned it but it is not a large problem, I have had very little issue with the connection while playing.

1) How's the atmosphere, flow, and progression feel?

I see you have a very simplistic view of how projects work.
One day we will know why this game came out this way and Im sure its not because they thought the story was good as is now today.

I did a hard reset of my xbox, and it forced the update and now I can connect. Something to try if you can't connect i guess.

I kind of just don't see how you could really believe they were doing anything other than what they thought was best, regardless of your subjective evaluation of the results.
Yeah I never had an issue before this. But now it literally won't even let me play the game.
