They are around the tower and require level 20. Once you buy an item from them to wear (class item), you accumulate rep towards that faction instead of vanguard.

What difficulty level were you playing? I tried yesterday and didn't get nearly that kind of loot. One blue and maybe 4 greens after about 45min. Also, were you taking out the yellow bar guys, or just letting everyone rush you? I was too afraid to lay down serious fire because I didn't want to kill the Knights.

Yhea. It seems like people are putting down a huge amount of time farming for something that is not guaranteed. If those hours were instead spent on grinding whatever faction they prefer people would be guaranteed their legendary in a short time, provided you cap each week which you'll more than likely do if you play regularly.

I guess to slow progress artificially. They want people playing for a while and they took the theory of slowing us down. I believe that if a game is naturally fun people will for a while regardless. All they need to do is adjust the loot (so AT LEAST purple doesn't turn into blue) and add matchmaking/proximity voice (something they had in Halo 2).

i havent played in a while (since i was a kid basically) like i did this long weekend since monday was a holiday. everytime i closed my very tired eyes i kept seeing purple/blue and green loot spheres lol

i was gonna take this day to rest some more but the more i keep reading this thread and the last strike mission that gave me a legendary heavy weapon just got me hyped again and cant wait to get out of work to keep playing

That kinda gets me hyped no lie. This sounds like what Strikes should've been. I always considered instances to be practice for raids, kind of like getting used to how to approach figuring out mechanics, and then the raid being like a test giving you crazier things.

Anyone have some good PvE and PvP Warlock specs and gear? So far, I think going for Intelligence and Discipline is best for both Voidwalker and Sunsinger. I've also been trying to specialize in using Auto-Rifles and Shotguns in PvP by having gear focused on that. For PvE, handguns and sniper rifles.

Ultiamtely, I'd like to have a gear set for both PvE and PvP.

Ah, just decrypted about 10-14 rare engrams and 2 legendary engrams. No legendary or exotic gear in sight. For fucks sake. How can I be this unlucky??

Lol figures, GAF luck would have me get it in the very next match along with bringing back the team from being pretty far down for a sweet comeback win.

Yeah that's what I did to get my first 4, it seemed to happen all the time. But someone here said Bungie nerfed it cause it started to never happen again. Somehow this time it did though and I finally got the fifth one. To the other posters, I'm a Titan and I tried throwing grenades at all possible times, they'd either avoid it, or get killed by something else before my grenade did them in. Haha I was starting to lose my mind about it.

You think that's bad. I decrypted 20-25 blue engrams and 6 legendaries and got nothing. As I said, Bungie best fix this loot system or they're going to loose a lot of players, one of which could very well be me.

Level 9. Heroic modifier adds more enemies.

Bought my first Legendary piece, easy road to my second... closing in on 26 at a rapid pace now! :D

I still haven't found a shader I enjoy. For now I'm going with Beowulf cause it makes my new legendary gauntlets look BLINDING
