Game is like crack, literally cannot put it down. Come to think of it I've logged more hours on this in a week than any other game on my PS4 since launch.

Yeah, I'm up to about 50 hours. I haven't put that much time into a game in such a short period in a very long time.

The one I got with that mod only let me hold down the trigger for auto fire, but it still just fired in bursts of three shots. Didn't seem like an improvement at all.

It does help fire a bit faster as you don't have to time pulling the trigger after the gun returns battery, it just goes automatically.

It does make dealing with recoil a bit more tricky if you are used to fire, adjust, fire, adjust as you are just holding the trigger the whole time and then adjusting. It is mostly a breaking a habit thing. I find that there are other more powerful modifiers that could be used.

Just got one of those Exotic (Weapon) Bounties and I have to choose between A) tracking "down Fireteam Tuyet's last stand"; B) searching "loot caches on Mars for clues"; or C) completing "a Weekly Heroic or Nightfall Strike".
I don't think I wanna do C so if any of you picked either A or B could you tell me what exactly you had to do and what the following tasks were?

It is true... It is called Bonus in the Destiny App... after 50 Strikes it increases the rate to drop gears.

Finally lvl 27 on my Hunter. I got full legendary now except a Primary and Special. I got 7 Legendary engrams yesterday and only got items for a Titan, kinda bummed me out. I must of done 30+ Legendary engrams and can't seem to pull a primary or special.

Favourite strike boss is probably the Archon (I know people hate him, but you have to run and gun and I like it).

Worst strike boss is definitely the cabal tank man.

Favourite enemy faction is the Cabal. I think the Legionaries look huggable.

Destiny isn't Diablo. Loot from grinding and drops isn't the only/main way to get gear. Here's a guide for:

100% Guaranteed Full Legendary + Exotic Armor, no RNG

Every Level after 3 with a Faction will earn you Legendary Faction Gear

So stop complaining about drops.

If only I could get my throwing knife in Bladedancer. Golden Gun is so bad in lag. Shoot someone and nothing happens so I shoot again, turns out the first one was enough. Now I only have one bullet and I have to pick one of the two guys who I could have killed both of if the hit registration wasn't fucked up.

Check the details for the item. I got a Legendary band for my warlock last night that dumps all my Vanguard/Crucible points into one of the other factions (Monarchy, I think).

I think they could also make the weapon effects more interesting. Spewing bullets from a Void gun look the same as from an Arc gun or a Flame gun-- how about some particle effects? Or maybe some kind of impact effect? Would help make some of the guns, particularly the non-exotics, feel more differentiated and special.

They do actually, pay attention to the heavy machine guns tracers, they match the color of the elemental damage

So I assume using gear with Light on it is better than using gear without Light on it, even if it's a higher level?

It's kind of confusing because my Defense would be much higher with some of the armour I have without Light.

Light level increase the damage done on high level enemies too... that is the description in the app.

All gear is essentially the same right? Or is leveling up in Vanguard better than devoting all my points to New Monarchy?

I don't think he meant simply changing the color of the path the bullet leaves. I think he meant something like Solar weapons have a burst of fire, Arc weapons crackle lightning, void......voids things. Something a bit more exciting like that? If I get what he said right?

Nothing at all. Only the faction cloaks do stuff, and all they do is turn your exp for crucible and vanguard into faction exp.

For an example, I use Future War Cult cloak, and any time I turn in a bounty, or play crucible, all the exp goes to FWC instead of the usual places.
You don't level both faction and vanguard/crucible, only one or the other.
