I'm playing skirmish for the whole day my team wins almost every time and if we don't I'm the best on my team and all I get is shitty blue rare items and coins while at least 4 other teammates were awarded with legendary item and I outperform them in every way. Better K/D, less deaths, more kills and assists.
What the hell is wrong with this game?

So Motes of Light are random drops, yes? No way to farm them? Other than just gaining XP?
What about Strange Coins? Doing the highest Vanguard strike gets you three, but you can only get 3 per week....

Turned in two bounties and got a rare ship and a mote of light. How common is that? Rewards on top of bounties?
Do you mean the nightfall strike, or the level 24 strike? Or the weekly heroic strike (i.e. not the vanguard strike)... I know that one gives you 3.
Farm blue engrams for strange coins i guess. Got two today but it's random aswell
What's your GT for future?
I've gotten two defensive upgrades for my gauntlets and each time the Light went up by 2. I'm assuming it works the same for the upgrades that require the Ascendant Shards. For my Exotic, that's how it worked. The Light level can take a couple seconds to update after an upgrade.
I wonder if we are all Russians that were stuck in a traffic jam.

Something as big as a raid deserves an end mission loot acknowledgement slightly more prestigious than a shader. it's a legit point of discussion.
You can also do the harder version of weekly strikes of which there are two of, three total, and they each award you with increasing amounts of strange coins.

Because some at bungie thought it was a good idea to make everything fucking random. It the worst thing about the endgame. There's no reason to do good at pvp cause you have equal chance of getting something than the dude who does noting.
Yeah...the game gave me another so I've had two holding up my slots. I need to do 25 strikes for that one, and it's only the second step...

Huh? First, I'm not advocating playing PVP instead of strikes-- never once did I even suggest that. In fact, I'd tell you, if you asked, to play the strike. You'll get rep and marks for clearing it and have chances at the RNG roulette as you go. As I said, they're not mutually exclusive, you can do both just by playing the game unless all you're doing is farming.
You get motes of light for xp after you are lvl 20
Strange coins I've gotten from engrams, gifts for public quests..

Bungie, just give me a chest to open after killing a boss in a raid. Let there be a legendary item in it. When I kill the final boss, let me open up a chest where I can pick up an exotic item.
To take this a step further, let these chests have a determined piece already in it. If I kill Boss 1, I know i'll always get Purple Shoes. Boss 2, always purple gauntlets. Boss 3, purple head. So on and so forth.

This. There has to be items for doing a raid. Ideally themed ones that can only be gained in that raid.
To be honest I'm not 100% sure, but I noticed that after I did the first one, it no longer said +3 Strange Coins under the loot column, but it still had strange coins for the harder ones. Was going to test this week unless someone already has an answer.
This earns you a 2% better chance to get legendary loot from your legendary engrams.
